A friend recommended Bridge Theory, so I reached out at the end of May 2024, and we began therapy in June 2024. Samantha paired us with Ms. Rebecca, who truly is an angel in disguise. To say my daughter's progress was remarkable is an understatement. Every week, we saw noticeable improvements--whether it was her self-correcting when asked to repeat a word or taking the time to think before speaking. As a mother in education, I could clearly see the difference between group therapy at school and one-on-one therapy. In a group setting, they were working on IEP goals, but with several kids in the group, the time spent walking between locations and occasional canceled sessions, the progress was limited. My daughter didn't have many major errors, but she was definitely behind, and in just seven and a half months, she graduated! The level of attention to detail, the thoughtful explanations, and the strong rapport Ms. Rebecca built with my daughter made all the difference. She also took the time to listen to my concerns as a parent and would incorporate additional strategies to address what I was seeing. This personalized approach is something you can't get in group therapy. Ms. Rebecca is truly an angel--my daughter loved coming to her speech lessons and would run into her arms for a hug. They formed a beautiful bond that made each session something to look forward to. Although lessons have ended, our gratitude for Ms. Rebecca and Samantha will last a lifetime.
