My daughter has been enrolled since June 1 and since has come home everyday with new and great learning experiences. The teachers Miss Sarah and Miss Linda know my child well. She gets in school and immediately sits on the teachers lap. The other teachers in other rooms also seem to know my daughter as well, including the owner Miss Jill and the director, Miss Sandy, even parents of other children in her room generally know my child and greet her. The place is very clean, very new, with great activity areas for kids including a large indoor gym. I feel that this would be a very great place for me to continue my child's education, in loving, fun environment.

They are both very approachable, and from my experience, we can walk in at any time to discuss any thing about my child. The facility is extremely clean, I notice the teachers and staff picking up toys that the children may have mouthed, they wipe down tables, and changing stations constantly. They even have buckets in each room for toys that need to be cleaned, toys that were cleaned, and toys that are drying! The toddler room mini bathroom stalls aside from being cute are exceptionally clean as well. ALL of the staff/teachers are very friendly and knowledgable. They greet everyone coming in which gives the center a positive vibe. The security in the building is amazing. From iPads to check your child in/out, to a special entry security system...we leave feeling that our child is in safe and secure hands. My son loves to play there and in the few months that he has attended, we have noticed that he is learning so much. He comes home singing songs he learned, he talks about animals he's learned about, he talks about his friends and teachers at school, etc. It's proof that he is truly having a fun and educational experience!

The staff at Lightbridge are truly dedicated to providing the best possible care for the children in their care. We've had exceptional teachers throughout the years, however Allison in particular stands out each day. Although their title is education coordinator, it is easily seen that they play any role needed day to day. I've seen her jump in to help pat my child to sleep for naptimes, handle any issues that arise with grace and compassion, greet my children by name each morning, and play silly roles like dressing up on groundhogs day. They truly seem to enjoy their job and make it more than just a job. The facilities at Lightbridge in Allentown are clean, safe, and well-maintained. There are facial recognition cameras to enter the facility, live stream cameras in each classroom for parent viewing, and their own app to keep you updated on day to day tasks. There is also a large outdoor play area where the children can run, play, and explore with two separate playground areas with sprinklers for water play in summers. My husband and I both work in the healthcare field with sometimes long hours. At times, this results in my children being at school more hours than I'd like. In an ideal world, we'd get to have our babies with us 24/7. Since this is not possible, Lightbridge is able to calm my very anxious mom heart, knowing my children love their school, are well cared for, and are thriving.

We have had our child in before and after school care at ALC- Fogelsville for kindergarten through…read more1st grade, and we are satisfied that the staff care about the kids and keep them safe and keep the place clean and communicate immediately when there is a health concern (such as all childcare centers have to deal with, such as a virus going around, etc). Our child is comfortable being left there and sometimes tells us that we picked him up too early and that we need to come back later, which means that he's happy there. I have used 2 daycares, both thoroughly researched alongside all the other local options, including checking violations on the state website. I have never seen a single daycare without multiple violations, but I check that they are being responsible about them and that none of them are a deal breaker. I highly recommend ALC-Fogelsville. The one thing that I would advise is if you need to communicate about an individual question, you may need to ask in person and then keep track of it yourself in order to get it handled. Please also keep aware that what you communicate to teaching staff may not get to office staff and vice versa, which is a very normal things that come up at child care centers.

Once you walk out of the building, those people are now in charge of your child's life. Period. Perfection is impossible. But in my eyes, my experience, and my 20 month old sons reaction every day we pick him up, Active Learning Centers is as close as one can get. They are like family. They always have time to speak with me or my wife. Funny thing is, I think our son eats better for them than us! I would often say, he ate what snack??? We can never get him to eat. He is so fussy! Infants and toddlers cannot be forced to eat or drink. Hey I'm an old man and you still can't get me to eat tomatoes! The things our son is learning is amazing. He loves to give everyone there a hug and I have never, felt more secure leaving my son with others. FYI- I am not new to this. I have three children in their 20's. I would do anything to protect this new little man. From the infant room to now being in toddler 1, my wife and I are thrilled that our son feels at home at Active Learning Center.

Unfortunately the information given is false or misunderstood according to which one you speak with. They also leave out very important information about their waitlist process and change the terms as they go. Morgan is very unprofessional and behaves like a child. If the owners behave this way I can only imagine how the actual center is ran. Side note... I am pretty sure health code requires the use of shoes in class rooms. Amy does not wear shoes and is rather proud of that. I would not want my child playing on floors that peoples feet have been walking on. Follow up... after reading through the paperwork this company has very little understanding of their own policies and paperwork. They make claims that are incorrect and false. I look forward to speaking with Morgan and Amy to try and resolve this issue so they can hopefully not only correct this issue but also make the changes needed so they don't end up with a lawsuit in the future because they are unclear of business practices, paper work, and legal issues when it comes to payments, contracts, and such. And finally After speaking with the CEO Amy, who happens to be Morgan's mother, I see where she gets her management skills and behavior from. I doubt either one of these women have any true training or background in running a business after today's conversation. I also don't think either one should be on control of a company let alone people's children. Amy would not let me speak and show her how their own paperwork and policies were on my side. She screamed and yelled and called me a bully and hung up on me. When I tried to call back and calmly ask her to be rational she went even more ballistic and then hung up on me again. It is a shame because as someone who has ran a successful business I was trying to help them understand where they were wrong so they could try and fix it on their end before it becomes a bigger problem in the future. One that could potentially cost them everything. Instead I was met with behavior and listening skills that were worse than my 21 month old I was considering sending there.
