We engaged this establishment when we wanted to finally send our 2 year old to day care for the first time. Everything seemed so wonderful. Had to take a virtual tour because of the times and were able to meet the teacher ahead of time. Everything was great, however, looks were very deceiving. We dropped our child off for her first day. We knew it was going to be difficult for her because it was the first time away from the ones she knows and loves. We expected to see that. Here were the problems. Upon first day we were not given all the information and signup information for the apps they use and they belittled us like we should have known how to use them ahead of time. My daughter cried and was upset for a little over an hour. Again, to be expected. She was never happy or settled the whole morning. They provide a camera to check in on your child which is awesome to see them. But then you get to see what is going on as well. We never saw a teacher or administrator help our child become acclimated. Typically someone would get on the child's level so they could look eye to eye. What happened was she sat in a chair by herself all morning. The one time a teacher went over to her she handed her the picture book we put together for her to see her loved ones. Did the teacher open it and engage. No! The placed the book down in front of her and walked away. Again we can see this all through their camera system. We saw the blonde haired teacher sitting on a table not even in a chair next to our daughter to help out. Even saw her on her phone instead of tending to the children. They only had 6 kids including our daughter that day so it is not like they were overwhelmed. We get they cannot spend the whole time with her but they should be able to assist her instead of leaving her sit by herself for hours. But wait, it gets better. It took them until after 12 pm to change our child's diaper for the first time. It even says so in the report they sent us at the end of the day. It took them over 4 hours for them to check her diaper! We watched as they provided her lunch and they didn't try to help her eat they just kind of left it there. At the end of the day they sent us a report advising that our kid engaged in all of these types of activities throughout the day and she napped well from 1-3pm. Hmmmm, we picked our child up at 1230 and we could see her sitting in the chair or standing by the door all morning. Please advise how she engaged? My wife engaged the owner on the second day and he wanted nothing to do with her and told her would call her to discuss her concerns instead of trying to address them. Never apologized for the horrible experience or any sentiments. The director, which we spoke to over the phone multiple times, was there at drop off as well. She saw my wife when she got out of the car and ran inside to afraid to confront us to discuss the prior days activities. Long story short, do no send your children here. They do not value you and they consider you just a number. The owner does not want to accept any accountability. The transition should have been smoother than it was. I have spoken to multiple individuals who have or do work in field and this is completely unacceptable on all fronts.

After two incidents in a row, instead of attempting to address any concerns, they dismissed my son removing him from friends he made and creating a great deal of trauma. The owner, Sean, was dismissive, rude, unhelpful and didn't care that this is a four year old child whose life was affected negatively. He has no business representing himself as a day care owner and should stick with declaring himself a profit monger.

During our time at TLE, there were two different owners, but we continued to see the same issues. These were what we witnessed during our time at TLE: 1. Our son has issues with his feeding that require him to be held upright during feeding. Multiple times, this simple and medically necessary request was not followed causing him to projectile vomit and stop breathing. We trained multiple teachers and very few seemed to actually follow through with this request. 2. They will feed your children slumped on the floor. I have photo evidence of them feeding my son on the ground with his neck positioned in a right angle. 3. The floors were filthy even though they said there's a cleaner. Crumbs everywhere and carpets had weeks' worth of spit up stains. Former employees mentioned cockroaches as well. 4. Our son was given medication without calling us for consent multiple times. 5. They skipped multiple feedings and our children constantly came home with diaper rash because they weren't changed for over 3 hours. 6. They had so much turnover and so many different teachers throughout the day that they had to label our kid with tape to make sure he didn't get mistaken for another kid. Kind of funny but also speaks to the stability of the place. We voiced our concerns so many times, so this shouldn't come to a shock to TLE but they also took 0 actions to remedy any of this. There's a few good teachers at TLE, but owners, directors, and fill in teachers don't care enough to make sure your kids are safe. If you're able to, pay a little more and go elsewhere to protect your child.

In the infant room, Ms. Jailene, Ms. Megan and Ms. Cindy are attentive and communicative. Within seconds of talking with them, you can tell they're compassionate and nurturing to the babies. In the Toddler room, Ms. Mariela, Ms. Sharella and Ms. India are patient, passionate, responsive and knowledgeable. Overall, the teachers are kind, accepting and genuinely care about our children; we couldn't ask for anything more.

My oldest son was enrolled at two other schools before we finally found Kiddie Academy. Unfortunately, his experiences at the other schools were subpar (to put it nicely), and left both of us slightly nervous about taking a chance in a new environment. However, after touring Kiddie Academy, I knew it was exactly the nurturing and educational environment I wanted both my children to experience. My oldest son is currently in the Kindergarten program and he comes home everyday with stories about all the things he has learned and all the fun he has had. The curriculum is phenomenal and the teachers go above and beyond to engage the children in hands-on learning activities. My youngest son started attending the toddler program this spring and has been having a wonderful time learning through play, meeting with friends, and getting to know his teachers. The school is clean, safe, and well maintained which is important to me. However, even more importantly, the teachers at the school are phenomenal! I have no doubt that all of the educators are well-trained, communicative, and care for each child as if they were their own! I always wanted my children to be at a school where the teachers treated them with the utmost respect and compassion and this school has exceeded my expectations. When I walk through Kiddie Academy, all the teachers smile, make eye contact, and are welcoming and that means a lot to me. All of the staff are professionals who I happily entrust the care of my "most prized possessions" to on a daily basis and I couldn't be more thankful to have that peace of mind.

After the third time, I pulled him from daycare but kept my 5 month old daughter in, as this was not an issue in the baby room. My daughter was supposed to be there until end of the August. My five month old daughter was expelled effective yesterday because staff doesn't feel 'safe' due to my emails expressing concern for my son's wellbeing and requesting incident reports I never received. When I requested an answer on which policy was violated to require her getting kicked out with no notice, I was told that, since I mentioned requesting incident reports and emotional distress, I insinuated a law suit, so my child had to leave. I was also told that by telling my him he's going to a new school to prepare him, i was the one causing emotional distress. Please see bruises below. I do want to note that Miss Dani, Miss Cindy, Mr. Paul, and Miss Heather were amazing teachers and we will miss them.

They are stuck in that one room all day long. And then they wonder why they have such behavioral issues with the kids?! Literally the first day my son…read morewas here they left him sleeping in a rocker and another girl sleeping in another chair for over a half hour at the max angle which is not safe sleep. They just put babies in containers and hope parents arent going to call them out for unsafe practices. Even after i spoke with the director who assured me this wouldnt happen again, twice the third day they had him sleeping in a rocker intentionally immediately after eating. How a daycare doesnt know about SIDs and positional asphyxiation is beyond me. And they placed my 3 month old in an activity center he isnt old enough for and said "its for core strength". Literally google when you can use activity centers and it gives the guidance that the child needs to be able to sit up on their own. We got a full refund and the owner admitted fault but that doesnt make up for putting my child at risk.
