Bike shops only had $800 choices until I spoke with Alligator. I explained that my budget was about $350 and they had a perfect solution. They assembled the rack and taught me how to install it on the 2 inch hitch receiver. This device has locks for both the hitch and bicycle. I went in to get a new seat for my bike. He showed me four different seats which were all reasonably priced and also allowed me to try them out. I wasn't pressured to purchase the most expensive one. Ripoff Artists at Work! Stay Away!…read more I bought two bikes from this location and would have bought two more had it not been for this experience! I brought my bike in for a rear hub repair. I explained to the service tech what was wrong and he immediately tried to sell me a $450-$500 full bike service. Absolutely INSANE. When I told him that I didn't really want to spend that much and asked if he'd consider addressing just the rear hub, he completely lost interest. I walked out, went to Alex's Bicycle shop just up the road in Weston. They knew exactly what was wrong, quoted me ~$50 for the job and would call me if anything changed. Less than 24 hours later they called to tell me my bike was done. They replaced the rear cassette for $40 and charged me $15 for labor. Trek service department is just shameful. Predatory service tactics like a greasy mechanic shop trying to upsell. BUYER BEWARE!
