Located in American Dream. Parking is free the 1st 1/2 hour then $5 for the rest of the stay. I thought we could just decide to sign up for Activate when already there but I called before and was advised to book online to make sure we get a timeslot. Weekdays $24.99pp, weekends $29.99pp. Up to 5 people can play at the same time. We booked for the following week on a Sunday morning - better bec. less people have gone in. It's a place with physical games/challenges (mental too) so when my sons/extended family were there a month ago and I went by the entrance, I got a whiff of sweat odor. But none when we went this time. We got wristbands - has our info which we entered on ipads after checking-in. Also a locker wristband for an assigned locker per group, just enough for smaller items/sweaters but not enough for jackets (we left ours in the car). An employee welcomed us and talked about the rooms. There was a variety, each labeled with one word (basically describing what the room is about). Each room has a wristband scanner and small screen which shows the games, with different levels that can be unlocked, and mini-tutorials. Each member scans their band and then instructed to enter when the room is free. Can continue playing the different levels of that game, unless prompted to leave when another group is waiting outside. Can always return to that room anyway. We all enjoyed, good family fun. I liked the physical challenges. We checked our individual standing on a scoreboard and with our band (also can check how many games left to play). After our 45 min session was done, we each got a keychain, which has our record, and told about 10% off the next visit.

The image shows the interior of an arcade or gaming center with dark walls illuminated by neon blue and green lights. There are digital screens displaying game-related graphics and instructions, including one that says 'MORE GAMES' and 'CONTROL.' A group of people is gathered near the entrance or a gaming area, with some individuals taking photos or talking. The environment has a modern, high-tech aesthetic suitable for entertainment and gaming activities.

We had an absolute blast here! For $30, you get a total of 45 minutes of game time. Upon entering, you will receive a bracelet that will track your progress. There's a locker near the entrance where you can store your personal belongings. Each game lasts about 1-3 minutes and you can continue playing through the next level as long as there are no other people waiting for the same game. There are so many games to choose from and each has multiple levels with increasingly levels of difficulty. My favorites were the laser and the grids. I'd recommend wearing comfortable clothes as we were all sweating by the end.

Wristbands! White= players, Blue = lockers

So much fun!! Friends and I have seen it on tiktok and it looked like fun. The most common video is the mega tile floor game (I forget the name). We're all in our mid-late 20s and had a blast!! We all broke a sweat so who needs a gym! Each room has a different activity such as lights, lasers, climbing, basketball hoops, etc which different game modes! Teams can be cooperative or competitive. We all picked the easiest cooperative options but there are fun options for people who want to think more than us. Each game is only a minute or so which doesn't sound like a long time, but one you're inside the game, it is plenty of time! Locker storage was easy! We got wrist bands to unlock the locker. Each locker was deep. Other positive things to note: helpful staff, fun leaderboard, engaging games, and hand sanitizer available!

The image shows multiple people inside a dark, enclosed space illuminated by blue neon lights and reflective surfaces. The room has a modern, futuristic design with neon lines on the ceiling and walls, and digital screens are visible. The setting appears to be an entertainment or gaming venue, possibly an arcade or virtual experience center, with people engaging with the environment.

My introduced me to this place as she had been here before but somewhere else. It's located in the Mall and it's close to where the Aquarium and new arcade are. You need tickets before hand and its timed entry since there's a time limit to how long you can stay. Once you check in, you get interactive wristbands for each person and one for a small locker as well. You also have to create a profile and sign a waiver, as well using the wrist band at a kioks before you start. Once that's done, if you've never been there, there's someone to explain and show you what to do if you've never been there before. Basically there are probably 10 or so rooms each with a different game involved. You can keep score againest each other or as a group and you compete againest everyone else playing as far as total points. One room is basket ball themed, so you shoot to answer trivia questions. Another room, you threw rubber balls at the wall similar to a memory game. There are probably 10 rooms, each with a different game. Each game is quick, under 2 to 5 mins if that so you play multiple ones and build your score up. A little but of running around so where comfortable clothes. Fun time though!

The image shows a dark room with a blue neon sign that is partially visible on the left side. The sign emits a bright blue light, creating a glow in the surrounding area. The rest of the room appears to be unlit, with no other objects or details visible.

It's better to reserve this place ahead of time as it gets sold out the day of. This is really fun, and the place has very fast-paced games. A unique gaming experience. I would definitely come back with a larger group. But not too large as you can't fit too many in one room or you can get split up. Try to do as many interactive cooperative or competitive games with your team within 45 minutes.

Loads of fun! Entertaining for a group of up to 5, but we did two groups and then got into new groupings as we went.

I was very impressed by this Internet cafe. There are many different number of blocks where you can…read moresit and my friends and I found a block that had 4 seats which was perfect for us. On the weekend it is $3/hr and $25 for a day pass which is feel is very reasonable. There also snacks/meals that you can buy. The monitors are large, headsets are adjustable, and they even have steelseries mice/mousepads. The chairs were also very comfortable surprisingly, very similar to a dxracer if you ever ever sat in one. The games available are fortnite, pubg, apex, l4d2, 1.6, css, csgo, league, Starcraft, and that is just to name a few. There is quite a large game library to your disposal. You also have access to use discord, Skype, kaokao talk, etc. If you don't have a steam account or don't want to use your personal one they will log you into a guest account, which I found super accommodating. My friends and I decided to play l4d2. The game ran super smooth. No lag or stuttering, felt like I was playing on my own computer. However, if you are using one of the guest steam accounts, a number of them have mods installed on them so characters of monsters may not appear as the originals. One of my friends, the zombies were anime girls while my other friend, all mobs were from Minecraft which made hit boxes more confusing. The computer has a timer in the bottom left corner showing your start/end time. Once you hit 10 minutes remaining then the computer vocalizes how many minutes you have left every minute. I would love to come back here again. There's something different from playing online than when you are actually physically sitting next to your friends as you play.

Such a great experience! Bought the Groupons for bowling and the arcade, great deal and savings…read more The service was A1, with a Groupon it's walk in only. Upon arriving there were 9 groups ahead of us (YIKES) and you cannot use the Groupon after 6pm. However, the front desk and general manager Kendis, were very accommodating, informative and patient with the amount of times we checked in. Haha The moment something became available, him and his team made sure we didn't miss the 6pm cutoff. My waitress was also great, polite and made sure we were well taken care of . The food was really good, my burger was great, sampler was really good, pizza was decent, the funnel cake fries were yummm. Overall had a great experience.

I ended up at Lucky Strike in Chelsea with a few friends after work, kind of a "why not, let's just…read morebowl" situation, and honestly, it did the job. The whole vibe is very "planned fun," but in a way that works. You walk in and it's loud, lights everywhere, music going, lanes on one side, arcade stuff on the other. There's that mix of corporate outings, birthday groups, and random people just hanging out. It's not trying to be some cool underground spot, it's more like, here's a lane, here's a drink, go have fun with your people. Once we got into our game and started trash-talking each other, it felt relaxed and easy. Service was pretty decent. Our lane server was around enough where we didn't have to flag anyone down, which I appreciate because I hate chasing someone for a drink. Things slowed a little once it got busy, but nothing crazy. Drinks showed up, food showed up, orders were right, no one got forgotten. Nobody was over-the-top friendly or anything, but everyone we dealt with was nice and kept things moving. For a big, kinda chaotic place, that's honestly fine. On value, yeah, this is where you remember you're in Manhattan. By the time you pay for the lane, shoes, a couple rounds of drinks, and some food to share, the bill is... not small. It's definitely not a cheap little casual night out. But if you think of it as paying for the whole "bowling + arcade + bar" package, it doesn't feel outrageous. It makes more sense for a group thing, team event, or birthday than just popping in for one quick game. Fun vibe once you lean into it, service that gets the job done, and prices that are a bit high but kind of expected for where it is. I wouldn't make it a weekly ritual, but if someone suggested going back, I'd probably be like, "yeah sure, I'm down."
