While I have used other services in the past, I decided to shop around the Houston, Pearland, Angleton area for better rates and am very glad I chose Dart Land Services. My experience began with Tina, who was fantastic. She provided an official quote and clear directions within minutes. The process was incredibly efficient; after I received the payment link, the survey team contacted me almost immediately to schedule the appointment. The survey team was professional and courteous. They were especially welcoming when my husband asked to be present during the survey. They treated him with the utmost respect and took the time to answer all of his questions. He was very happy with the interaction, and it truly made his day. Thank you for making this such an easy and pleasant experience for our family. The Monroe Family

Matt came onto my property and began digging without even knocking on my door When I opened my…read moredoor, he was incredibly rude. I told him I own this house and I already have a survey. I asked him if he wanted to see it. He literally told me that he did not need my permission or my survey even though he was standing on my driveway - rejected my attempt to get an explanation and started ignoring me and kept digging ON MY PROPERTY. Thank God Christina was there to witness how aggressive he was. As a woman alone, having a large man be blatantly rude to you on your property out of the blue is soooo jarring and made me feel so unsafe. I asked Christina if it was okay the way he spoke to me, and she obviously didn't want to go against him, maybe out of her own fear of him because he was so aggressive, but she did apologize and say they would knock next time. I hope there is not a next time! How scary to have a big aggressive man come to my home and disrupt in such a rude way. Still in shock he felt that entitled.

I contacted Texas Star Surveying and after scheduling a survey, they came out within a week. It was a huge relief for me to know exactly where my property markers were, especially because I have five lots. During the job, Texas Star was very professional, organized, resourceful, and polite. They even provided me with a map of my property and measured the buildings on it, which was a nice surprise. I'm grateful to have found a local company that provides quality service without charging exorbitant prices.

After a long process of getting quotes from some of the big name companies, I ran across VFR's ad…read moreon Facebook. I don't normally pay attention to FB ads but theirs was well written so I started researching them and decided to get a quote. I called them Wednesday, they came out Thursday to do inspection and give an estimate. I reviewed the estimate, they answered every question I had and compared their proposal to others I received and was impressed and signed the agreement. They came out this morning and walked me through the process then got to work. Daniel(owner) was onsite and explained where they were at throughout multiple phases. Impressed with the honesty, integrity and work ethic of VFR. They finished this afternoon; cleaned the worksite to as much as normal can be done on a job like this. Would definitely recommend that anyone that's needs foundation repair work done, get a quote from them, you'll be surprised when comparing theirs vs the other Big Name companies out there. I wish I found them sooner. Will definitely recommend to friends / family.

I have been working with Miel Construction for a little over the past year. After a great…read moreexperience renovating my home's master bathroom, I've had them back to handle a home office renovation as well as a powder room renovation thus far. To share a few thoughts: - My home has an odd layout, mixing open-concept with split-level, so rooms do not begin and end in conventional places. This leads to odd requests on projects (e.g. "paint half of this wall"). Miel has been extremely understanding of the house, which has helped me tackle projects in a way that works with my budget. - Texts during the week always have very timely responses, and work is stood behind in the event of a small goof here and there. - As someone who enjoys DIY projects and is very invested in the materials and design choices I make, Miel has been extremely accomodating to develop quotes where I provide various materials (door hardware, marble, etc.). That allows me to get exactly the look I want, without needing to be my own contactor. Five stars does not suggest that there has never been any mistakes ever. Small things are bound to happen here and there, just as I'm sure they would with any contractor. I do think I have a five star partnership with Miel, and when issues arise, I can count on them to be resolved in a reasonable manner. I look forward to more future projects with Miel.
