Worst experience ever! Zero communication! The service I…read morerequested was to have the battery replaced and oil changed in my 2005 Honda Civic. It took 3 hours and cost me $428.00. My appointment was for 1pm. My car wasn't moved from where I parked it until 1:25. I thought once they had my car in the garage and had a look at it that they would come out to the waiting room to give me my options. Instead, they installed a $254 battery; they thought this was ok for a 20yo car. There was no communication with me regarding anything until 2:45 when Brian came to the waiting room to inform me of $2000 worth of work that my car needed, which included $761 for 2 rear struts. I never asked for a full car inspection. I thought I would not be able to leave, but I was informed the battery was not yet installed. I didn't get out of there until 4 pm. Once I arrived home I took a closer look at my receipt and saw that I was billed $85 for a "charging system test" which I did not ask for, nor was it necessary. I then looked under the hood and saw that even though they had my car for 3 hours, they couldn't take a minute to do a courtesy top-off to the power steering fluid and brake fluid, but instead left them at below the low mark. The AAA battery they installed had a black date sticker of 6/24; a one-year old battery.

I've been to Team Winnebagoland three times now and can honestly say I was blown away by the…read moreexperience each time. The first time, I was driving back to Eastern IA from Green Bay and was in the market for a jacket for my new motorcycle. I saw their sign and pulled off to check it out. As others have said, I was met almost immediately after coming in the door. I admit I was a little worried I was going to be followed around and hassled the whole time I was there. It has happened before in places. I told the person what I was looking for (probably Erin) and she immediately took me back to look at jackets. I am an odd size (XL, Tall) and had low expectations that I would find something to fit me. She showed me the perfect jacket and told me all about it. She was very knowledgeable and explained all the unique features. When I mentioned it seemed tight, she said that it is better if it was slightly tight to keep the wind from blousing it out when I rode, and to increase the protection. I bought the coat and a dark face shield for my helmet too. I have been very happy with both. Okay, so that was my first time at the store. The second time was just recently when I rode my bike to the annual airshow in Oshkosh a couple of days ago. I've been wanting a luggage rack but never pulled the trigger before. I had had such a good experience at Team Winnebagoland the first time that I left the airshow before it was over, so I could go to the store before it closed. I was met immediately upon entering by someone who complimented me on my bike and asked some questions about it and about me. He found out my name and called me by it from then on. When he found out what I wanted he walked me over to the parts desk and introduced me to Erin. She greeted me by name and also called me by it the rest of the time I was there. Everybody I met learned my name and called me by it the whole time I was there. I must mention that I came back to the store the next day and everybody STILL remembered me and called me by my name. Impressive. Okay, getting back to my 2nd visit (which was already blowing my mind). Erin looked in the computer and saw they didn't have a rack for my bike. She immediately looked in the computer and saw their De Pere location had one. She told me how to get there and called ahead so they would have the part ready. However, a big storm was cutting me off as I rode north, so I turned back around. I went back to the store to tell them I wouldn't be able to get the part b/c of the weather and would be going back home the next afternoon. Erin said she would call someone there and see if they could bring the part down to her store, so I could get it the next day, before riding home. Now THAT was unexpected! It was now about 10 min before closing, so she hopped on the phone and asked how they could get the part by the next morning. One guy was going to take it home and pass it off to another guy who would come to her store the next day. Okay, so who gives THAT level of service nowadays? I asked Erin if they could install it when I picked it up and she immediately scheduled me an appointment with the service manager (who started calling me by my name!). Okay, so the next day, I get a voice mail around noon from the service guy saying the part was there. I left the airshow and drove the 10 mi to the store. They immediately took my bike back and started working on it. I had a duffle bag strapped to the passenger seat and they didn't take it off; they just worked around it. While waiting, I mentioned to Erin that a rubber piece was separating from the back of my 4 year old helmet. She offered to fix it for me, instead of immediately trying to sell me a new one for $250+. Who DOES that? She opened up a package of epoxy cement and we held the rubber strip on the helmet til it was dry (5+ min). She didn't charge me. It did take a bit longer for them to install the rack than I liked, but that was of little consequence b/c of the experience overall. Since I recently retired from 30 years in sales, maybe I appreciate it more people remember my name and give me exemplary service. I HIGHLY recommend Team Winnebagoland, based on my 3 experiences.

Absolutely Outstanding Service at Dante Auto! - My Fuel Issue Fixed Fast and Fair!…read more From the moment I limped my sputtering vehicle into Dante Auto in Oshkosh, I knew I was in good hands. I was experiencing a frustrating fuel issue that was making my daily commute a nightmare, and honestly, I was bracing myself for a lengthy repair and a hefty bill. Instead, I received nothing short of five-star service that truly exceeded all my expectations. The staff at Dante Auto were immediately welcoming and attentive. They listened carefully as I described the symptoms my car was exhibiting, and they got it into the shop incredibly quickly. I was kept informed throughout the diagnostic process, and within a reasonable timeframe, they had pinpointed the problem. What truly impressed me was the mechanic who took the time to explain everything to me in clear, easy-to-understand language. He didn't just tell me what was wrong; he showed me and explained the potential causes and the necessary steps for the repair. This level of transparency was incredibly reassuring and made me feel confident in their expertise. He even broke down the cost of the parts and labor beforehand, so there were absolutely no surprises when it came time to pay. Speaking of the bill, I was absolutely thrilled with the final price. Considering the speed and efficiency of the repair, and the thoroughness of the service, the cost was exceptionally fair - truly a breath of fresh air compared to some of the horror stories I've heard about auto repairs. To have my fuel issue resolved completely and correctly, all in the same day, for such a reasonable price is simply fantastic. It's not just about the quick fix and the fair price, though. The genuine care and professionalism displayed by everyone at Dante Auto were remarkable. They treated me with respect, answered all my questions patiently, and made what could have been a stressful experience surprisingly pleasant. If you're in the Oshkosh area and experiencing any car trouble, I wholeheartedly recommend Dante Auto. They are honest, reliable, and provide top-notch service with a personal touch. They've definitely earned my trust and will be my go-to auto repair shop from now on. Thank you to the entire team at Dante Auto for getting me back on the road quickly and affordably! You've truly earned this five-star review and my sincere gratitude.
