I've used Action Moving twice now and they are great. Movers were professional and polite. Job well done and I'm happy to be moved!

They deliver the trailer to your old home and you have about 3 days to load it. They pick it up and get it to your new location in 4 to 6 business days. You only pay for space used. No extra costs. You do have to pack/load then unload/unpack yourself (unless you hire someone). You also don't know exact delivery date. So if you are willing to put up with those inconveniences ... I highly recommend their services.

We moved a whole household (4 bedroom home) from NW Iowa, over to NE Wisconsin. U-Pack does a nice job online of explaining how their service works, and then lots of hints and tips about packing and loading the truck. They also were good about answering questions I had when I called them. Trucks were delivered to us exactly as scheduled. We had three days to load. Make sure you have your crew lined up to help and the key is to really pack things out using all available space, top to bottom. Strap things off across the truck about every 8' to help secure the load. Then delivery is scheduled within a range of so many days, which you can track online. Trucks were well within range. Again we had three days to unload. Delivery and pickup of the trucks was made quickly once called for. Compared to moving companies, saved a TON. Compared to other do it yourself methods, I would have have to rent a fleet of trucks and made a whole lot of trips. U-Pack does all the transportation. Made life much easier. Again, can't say enough about the whole process and would definitely use them again. Check them out if you want to save yourself some money and time.

Less than 3 miles one way all three places together. My fiancée booked the moving, spoke on the phone and informed them of all of the furniture and information they would need, informed them of her parents address, and gave them all they needed. They gave us an estimate of $749, which we accepted. Later that week, the owner texted her and asked for a $50 DEPOSIT to "secure the date". A check was dropped off and later cashed by Jaiders moving. The moving day came and they began moving everything. When they brought the first load, it was noted that some items they left in the garage at first. When they were done with that, they went with my fiancée to her parents house where they claimed they didn't have enough room for everything (when they had room for 2 bedroom 2 bathroom items first trip.. but now not 12 boxes, a vacuum, and a grill) and were going to bring what they could back to the house and that was it. When my fiancée returned with them to the house they simply unloaded all the remaining items in the garage. The earlier items that they had left in the garage were now in the house. They asked my fiancée for a check for $750 for which she did. When they left, she noticed that the furniture they had finally moved in was damaged. Her mirror coffee table was cracked, the entire side of her mirror vanity had the paint scraped off, the wood was scraped off of her dining room, the entertainment center was cracked, AND they had knicked our BRAND NEWLY PAINTED WALLS in multiple locations. We understand things happen with moving, but the extent of the damage was sheer carelessness. Furthermore, why did they not bring in the last load? If we are paying for a service, we expect more than everything dumped in the garage. But, that's not all. Why did they tell her she owed $750 when first, the estimate was $749, but THEN I had already paid a $50 deposit? She should have only owed $699. When we reached out, we were told that the $50 was to "lock the date in." Well, that's not a deposit. Deposit goes towards the total. FURTHERMORE, we have friends who are using this company the day after us so we reached out to see if they had paid the $50. Turns out they were never even asked for a deposit! So, why were we?! We are so upset. We do NOT recommend.
