We called to remind them that they had miss the appointment. And Diane who may I add has no business dealing with a customer service desk for a company and has to be one of the rudest people we've ever dealt with. It's her way or the highway, we never received a text or the voice-mail that she claimed had been left and actually wanted to argue about, doesn't make sense. Then you ask to speak to someone else above her in management and she promptly tells you I am the management. SMH RUDE, and if you take the time to look at other reviews you'll find more "RUDE" being the PROBLEM and not even the gutter work, that should speak volumes and the fact that PEOPLE TOOK THE TIME TO REVIEW THEM ABOUT IT, because there's nothing worse than calling a company you think has your back and having the person treat you like garbage after you've been with them for quite some time. I notice that the reviews that are positive are for the work done, apparently they haven't had to deal with "DIANE" yet. I do not recommend this company simply for the way they treat you when you have an issue. And furthermore the customer is always right, it's not speak over them and tell them your right and you know it. They sold to Ned's something something. Do not use them! I had some minor dirt in my gutters and a possible block in the gutters. They came out today and they left all of the debris that they pulled out from the Gutters on the ground - they actually used their blower to blow big chunks of debris into my flowerbeds. They left debris not only in the flowerbeds but on my new step stone path. My yard guy was just here yesterday. These guys were terrible. They weren't here 10 minutes - I just spent more time than that cleaning up their mess. They did not speak a lick of English so that I could explain to them about a potential blockage in the gutters. It was an absolutely horrible service. Not what I asked for when I called. I do not recommend them. I recommend you never call them. read more

They used to be amazing and we used them all the time. Recently they merged with Ned's Home and went to complete ... you know what. Expensive. And just bad workmanship. They had to come back and redo the gutter cleaning after they shoveled all the crud down the downspout and created a huge clog. They can the day after they said they were coming. And never called or texted to say they were coming and we had left town. So. One joke to supervise work. Not great anymore. Makes me sad. read more

Here's the problem quality and value. They come out and clear the leaves from the gutters but they don't clear the debris at the end of the drain which will get clogged with debris from the roof. Their position is, they clean gutters and downspouts the drains are my problem. Well, after their last visit I separated the downspout from the drain and a pile of leaves and muck came out. The openings at the drain ends also weren't cleared. What good does it do to blow leaves out of the gutters if the downspouts and drains are not also cleared? Why would I pay a company $160 to clean the gutters if I have to go around and clear the attached drains? I canceled my service with them for those reasons and because the price goes up but the value isn't there. Also, they're now part of "Ned's Home" which apparently gets terrible reviews and seems scammy so,......adios. read more

They rescheduled my appointment via text which wasn't a huge deal but compound that with when I got home my yard was littered with every single thing that came out of my gutters. There was a 3 foot perimeter around my home with stones, rocks, tile pieces, random metal pieces, it was crazy. When I called and asked why they left my yard like that they asked for pictures so I sent them only for them to respond with they could come back out in a week. My yard needed to be mowed so that wasn't an option but all they could do so I had to pick it all up. Very unprofessional all around, sadly. We've used Action Gutter repeatedly in the past with no problems. We had them out in March and work was completed. Check payment was handed to one of the crew members, after he said I could do so. They proceeded to lose the check, which I didn't find out about until I got a late payment notice. They called later to say payment was still not received. Basically called my wife a liar because "he has never lost a check". They expect us to issue ~$40 stop payment on the check and pay them full amount due to THEIR employee mishandling the payment. Cannot recommend them due to poor customer service and lack of accountability on their behalf. read more

I guess my gutters are clean, but I know my downspouts aren't because the Action service guy said they couldn't clean them because they are narrow. WTF? Isn't cleaning gutters what you guys DO????? Can't you use a snake like plumbers use when something is stuck in a pipe? Apparently not. So I paid $115 for 2 guys to blow the leaves out of my gutters with leaf blowers. I could have hired a neighbor to do that for $50! I did ask the service guy if they cleaned up after they were finished because they were at my house for about 10 minutes (I'm not exaggerating. I checked the time 1:43pm when they started the motors and by 1:51 I had written a check and closed the door.) Anyway, the service guy said no. Then I went out to run some errands and saw that one of my day lilies looked as if it had been stepped on. When I went to check the other plants, I saw roof debris along the side of my house. Apparently what I consider clean is not what they consider clean - wet leaves and roof debris had been blown into the flower beds on the side of the house. So I wrote an email explaining my disappointment with the service I received. And the next day.... The office manager responded that they would send the guys back to clear the downspouts. It was explained that my gutters are tiny, the smallest available to a builder and that the builder skimped by not making a proper outlet for draining. While I understand that the narrowness of my downspouts makes their job harder, it's still what they advertise as their business. The guys returned to my house the following Thursday and my back deck was completely clear - not a leaf in sight, and only a little of the roof debris remained. I didn't check the downspouts with my hose and as we're in the middle of a heat wave, I don't know when I'll be able to see if they are draining properly. I almost gave Action 3 stars because they addressed my complaints and sent their guys out again. But I stuck with the 2 stars because if I hadn't been home sick I wouldn't have known they didn't initially clear the spouts, and I would have been wondering why my gutters were flooding during the next rain. As for the gutter cleaning service itself, I wasn't expecting perfection, but I was expecting the basics. Maybe it's a better idea for me to buy a plumbing snake from Home Depot and climb the roof with my leaf blower. At least if I fall off the roof, I'll just be suing myself. Yelp 52 #12 read more

We hired them to clear clogged gutters and downspouts. They blew the leaves off the roof, noted on the invoice that the gutters and downspouts were clogged and needed to be cleared, and left. After contacting them to find out why they didn't clear the clogs, they said that the gutter guards on the clogged downspouts needed repair. That required another visit and another charge....by the same guys that blew the roof! I get it that a minor repair may add to the initial fee, but this repair (trimming 6" of two gutter guards and adding screens to those areas ) ended up costing us nearly double the quoted fee. This place must have a lot of pleased customers because when I called a month ago, they said they were booked for the next month. Since gutter cleaning is not exactly an emergency, I decided to book anyway because the quote they gave me sounded good. When the day came a month later, they gave me a reminder phone call and told me I did not have to be home and they would leave the invoice in the mail box. When I came home, my gutters looked great and there was no debris on the ground that I could find! I actually expected a messy job for some reason, so I was pleasantly surprised. I paid the invoice online (no checks, cash, or other bs- online payment like everything should be). The amount on the invoice was actually $15 less than the quote. OCT 7TH UPDATE. I have upgraded this review from one-star to 4-stars. I just received a call from Action Gutters in Cumming. The lady was very apologetic for the downspout issue. The guys are returning sometime today. No exact time provided which is understandable. But the bottom line, to me, is ACTION GUTTER CALLED !!! For my money, that is A HUGE PLUS...even if they do not correct the downspout issue. It shows they do care...you can't say that about most service providers nowadays !!! It is now 345PM on Oct 7th. Action Gutter is back and they checked my downspouts. They are clear now. Earlier in the day, I thought I heard them clearing the gutter. Well it was a dog-gone squirrel. I wonder if the squirrel had clogged the gutter at the time I was outside when it was raining. Who knows. Well I need to have the gutters re-secured to the house. I am having Action Gutter do that now...for an additional charge of course which is expected. In summary, ACTION GUTTERS MAKES GOOD ON THEIR PROMISES !!! This company at one time was absolutely jam-up. In the last year the service has gotten horrible. They have mismanaged my schedule, double booked me, won't return a call, won't answer the phone and seem to make a plethora of mistakes. Had used this group for several years with no problems until this year. My understanding was that gutter covers would be removed for cleaning. I was told by the employee on the job, before they started: "No, we don't do that because the covers never go back on the same way." They charged us more than previous years, for no reason, and were there for 15 minutes. My husband had to point out the top run of gutters that they forgot to do. When I called the next day to complain, the person on the phone did that trick , "Ma'am, you need to calm down," after I had repeated what happened three times. After I said I would put a stop payment on the check, she said no, she would shred it. She told me I could listen to the shredder while she did that!! I've used them a couple of times now and both been very happy. They come up to Dawson County. There is no way I would get on my roof or hire a day laborer for $150! I have a high pitched roof and those useless grate guards. They pull them off and place them back after cleaning. Action gutter gets the job done, cleans up after themselves, and you don't have to be around when they are there. As a "heads up," schedule your cleaning well in advance because their schedule fills quickly. You can also set them up far in advance as I have (by the year). read more

I've used Action Gutter Cleaning for years and they have always done a great job. The last time they came out one downspout remained clogged, but I didn't know that until it rained and it didn't rain until I was past their 30 day guarantee. Since I was just outside their 30 day time limit they told me I'd either have to pay for the additional trip to clear the downspout, or wait until my next scheduled service call. Well, I waited for about another month and then called them out to clean the gutters asking them to be sure and clear the problem downspout. The guys came as sheduled, were friendly and polite as usual, cleaned up after themselves, and they really checked over that clogged downspout. They found where pine straw, leaves, etc. were clogging the opening of the underground drain away pipe about 15' from the house, and cleared the opening. Problem solved, the downspout drains fine again. Technically, I suppose they didn't have to clear the brush away from that drain pipe, but they did and it shows how concerned they are with providing great service and getting the job done right. read more
