The owners were top notch. Accommodating. Lots of models to look at and choose from. The repair section is superb.

I would recommend this company only for people that are getting certain kinds of Durable Medical…read moreequipment. I have received my Commode, two actually. As for the first one, we hadn't realize it wouldn't work for my specific situation until I tried to use it, and after speaking with the Fletcher's Staff about the issue; they advised us as to the correct specifications as to what my Doctor needed to write the order out for in order to get my insurance to pay for me to get the Commode I needed. Another instance was getting my shower chair. We had a slightly similar problem when the order for my shower chair came in, but the staff members remembered me and that I had a very complex situation, so when they brought out the shower chair they set it up like it was in the tub in order for me to see if the chair would work for me to transfer over to it from my wheelchair. We learned that I needed a different shower chair than the standard shower chair. Thankfully, I didn't need a new order for it, but the service was really great and they treated me with respect and kindness throughout the whole process. Another time I had finally gotten the authorization to get a custom made Wheelchair made to fit me and my needs. Fletcher's was right there for me and when my new Wheelchair was ready they brought me back to the back repair area to finish the fitting of my chair. The Staff members that worked on my chair and made sure everything fit perfectly to what "I" wanted and needed, always asking me: "Is this comfortable? and "Do you want anything else specifically done?" Made the experience a lot more personal and easier to work through. And yet another time...I called to set up maintenance check and adjustments for my Wheelchair, (I will say that it took me a little while to get through to get to schedule the appointment, but I completely understand that they are busy helping customers and replacing stock, as I've watched them work on the previous times I had been there, though) much to my surprise during my conversation with the staff member, I was told that they offer home maintenance service, so I didn't need to bring my chair to the warehouse. The Staff member that came to my house was courteous in the way he treated me, and my home, along with the belongings in my house; respectful in how he spoke to me, and gave me his complete attention when I spoke, taking everything I said about what was happening with my wheelchair and how I felt I could have greater control and comfort while in it seriously; patient in how he never rushed me, or dismissed my concerns or questions, he was always willing to answer my questions; he was definitely knowledgeable and confident in his knowledge, but he was also very willing to listen to ideas and willing to look up things if he didn't know something off the top of his head, as I had ask for something that he wasn't sure was available for my kind of wheelchair. I have just called again because someone who handled my Wheelchair had handled it wrong and warped a plastic section attached to the frame that is now impeding my ability to roll well. And Yes, it once again took some time before I got someone on the line to speak to, but once I did they were professional and respectful in getting me to the right department and once again when I got to the Maintenance department I was quickly able to setup an appointment for someone to come see to my Wheelchair with no fuss. I can't account for why so many people are having issues with Fletcher's except that most of them seem to be issues having to do with CPAP or other kinds of PAP machines. Which is why I said that it really depends on what you're getting at Fletcher's. I got my CPAP and all of the continual stuff for the CPAP through another company and have no issues...BUT for my Physical Durable Medical Equipment, Fletcher's seems to be doing really well for me so I see no reason not to recommend them for that purpose.

This place is a train wreck. They make medical decisions that override the physician, yet they are…read moreneither physicians nor insurance comp[any. I need a life altering test before I can get nighttime oxygen I need and they are telling my doctors that my O2 is not low enough to have the test.
