For at least 2 days, I called Roy's Lumber and the gentleman kept telling me that he needed more time. By the 5th day, we called and was told again that they needed more time. The person paying for the order went ahead and visited and made the payment and they told her it would be an hour. I called after an hour and was told it would be longer but they would call me back in 30 minutes. No phone call. I tried calling them several times and the phone line was busy. I went ahead and sent someone over to pick up the order. When that person arrived at Roy's Lumber, they saw the phone was off the hook and was told the WOOD WAS NOT EVEN IN STOCK YET!! So not only did they lie about getting the order in, but they kept up the lies all throughout the week and even lied WHEN PAYMENT WAS MADE AHEAD OF TIME - TO OUR FACE. Lies. What a deceitful business owner. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! WARNING!!!

I was told " you do understand we have other tenants that have things going on" instead of calling another company to come fix the problem....I'll be calling off again shorting my check so I can be home when the plumber comes , but hey! Who needs a whole paycheck especially when you're a single mom with 2 kids, rent, 2 car notes, utilities, and a host of other bills...... I guess I just have to understand my emergency isn't really an emergency to everybody

She paid cash for the home and for all site preparation and setup, The home arrived on Atkinson Homes lot in June. It is now nearly October and the home is still not setup. The site prep was terrible. The home nearly flipped coming up the driveway they installed because it was soft and too narrow. The septic tank popped out of the ground just after it was improperly installed. The roof leaked during the first rain. No utilities, no air conditioner unit, no block skirting, large mud hole at the front door. All Atkinson Homes offers are weak excuses. I would give zero stars if possible. Avoid this company at all costs.

Not long after, a guy came and installed the underpinning within a few hours and it looks great! This was included in the price. Atkinson has a guy who works for them that fixes anything that needs it, such as correcting doors that may not latch well. The guys name is John. He did a great job with the few things that needed adjusting! He also mounted the glass storm door, which I love!! This was included in the price. You can't go wrong buying from Atkinson.
