A job that should have taken significantly less time ended up taking around five hours. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I already had the necessary tools/materials available. Instead of using what I provided, I was told they would not be used, and he went out and got essentially the same items, which resulted in additional charges. I found that completely unnecessary. When a customer is paying hourly, I expect the person doing the work to respect that time and work efficiently. Instead, I felt like the job was unnecessarily dragged out, resulting in a much higher bill than I expected. On top of that, the communication and overall attitude were rude and unprofessional. Based on my experience, the quality of service did not justify the amount of time or money spent. I would not use this company again and would strongly encourage anyone considering them to make sure they understand exactly what they are being charged for, including time and materials, before allowing any work to begin.
