I've used these guys for a number of years for plumbing and HVAC; for my home and for my clients in my business as well. Our water heater ruptured at 5 PM the other day. By 9 PM we not only had a new water heater installed; they checked to see if it was under warranty, which I hadn't thought of. saved me $900.00. Called and asked for a quote and they said they don't do quote by phone, which duh it's common sense not to. But want to charge me $150 just to show up at my house to "asset" on regular hours and &250 on the weekend and not refundable or can be apply to the job. What a rip off company. I learned when company say this things or they set up an appointment on Sunday, they don't want to do the job. So disappointing for the "supposed good rates". Oh that's another thing I learned, people lie on the reviews, and some of them can even not be real or honest around this area. read more

Cons: Details of the bill were not shared until after the work was done and paid. The hours charged (4) did not coincide with the hours spent at our house (2...maybe 2 1/2 and if rounded up, may be charged for 3??) and time away to pick up parts etc. They advised that it is only based on time at our home (so..maybe 3 hours of rounded). The "estimate" given on the initial call was an hourly rate of $155 plus parts. We paid $230 an hour ($155 an hour for the plumber PLUS $77 an hour for the helper). We did reach out and the company states that GPS can confirm 3 hours and 45 minutes at our home...but we were home and our cameras can confirm they were not here. The company did not comment on hourly rate not being disclosed nor on the fact that paper estimates/invoices are not given ahead of work being done. Pros: Work was completed and passed inspections. They added us to the schedule within 2 days of calling to replace/repair gas line. Side notes and context of pricing for reference ....my husband and I were able and willing so we dug up the gas line ahead of the plumber coming to decrease our cost and hours on site. Our gas line was less than 10 ft and all elbows and risers were replaced. Total cost was $828 in parts the remainder of the $1800 bill was labor. I know many have had much longer gas lines, larger bills and are not able to do the physical labor so I based my review only on my situation and information/numbers for reference. I have to give some major, MAJOR kuddos to Hall's Rooter & Plumbing! Amazing company and service. Had them out a few time to help with some things and recently, our main sewer line that had a slight lip where two of the pipes met (causing blockages now and again). Called another company to see if the previous work the previous owner's had done would be under warranty and never got a straight answer. They sent someone out to take a look and unblock it. He said he didn't see the "lip", even though Hall's already came out quite a while ago and showed it to me via the camera. After spending roughly $580-$600 (crazy!) to unblock shower and tub drains and the main line blockage (two separate visits), I got done waiting for and fussing with said company. I email Hall's and they were amazing to work with, just like the few times before. They came out, took a look with the camera (saw the so called non-existent lip and showed me again), gave me an estimate (which was incredibly reasonable) and I scheduled the work to be done. The tech came out promptly, told me what he was doing and would be doing. Great communication! We had him clean out the other line to our kitchen and add on an access point for that line, which we were happy to pay because, again, reasonably priced. The tech also gave me heads up what could help our main line in the future (one long connected line instead of the segments of pipe that was put in long before we purchased the house). I called Friday morning for a blocked pipe in my house. A plumber was there within 3 hours. He called and gave me a heads up that he was coming. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He fixed the clog pretty quickly. I will definitely use them in the future. The price was competitive as well. read more

Jake with Hall's Rooter and Plumbing did a great job today. We discovered a slab leak early this morning. After calling, they quickly got plumbers out to check and repair the leak. Jake was very professional and explained the process and all the options very clearly. He was able to quickly locate and repair the leak as well. The prices were also very reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience with this company and Jake. I'll definitely be contacting them again for my water/plumbing needs. read more

Ray was awesome! I couldn't take off of work when a significant leak popped up in the main bathroom's toilet shut off valve. He actively checked in with me throughout the day, trying to find a place to fit an appointment with me into his already full schedule. I'm a teacher and last week was STAAR, so it was after 4 before I could head home. He understood that and didn't just shrug me off, because he was already busy and it was the end of his work day. I've been waiting since January for another group of plumbers to come fix a venting issue they identified during a consultation, but they are always too busy to get around to me and my problem. FORGET THAT. I'd rather give Ray from Halls the business. Also, when he got to the house, he fixed the issue super quickly, was very friendly and professional the entire time, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Yup, five stars all the way. :-) read more
