Stepping out of My Comfort Zone This year I took a big step…read moreoutside of my comfort zone and signed up to do boudoir pictures. I've thought about it for years but never really had the opportunity. Last year, a friend of mine did it with Darci Admundson Photography and she recommended me to do it this year. So I went ahead and signed up to be one of her Boudoir Beauties. I was nervous about it, but with an open mind and a sick sense of humor, I managed to get through the photo shoot. I walked in to Darci's studio not sure what to expect. I sat down for makeup and hair, had a glass of wine, took a few deep breaths and relaxed. Darci was always professional, very open and really helped calm my nerves about the whole thing. I'm not much of a self conscious person, especially when it comes to people seeing me mostly naked (having kids will do that to you), but for some reason this one had my nerves rattled. Once we had the outfits picked out and got started, my nerves were gone. It was actually a lot of fun and I kept Darci on her toes with my random comments about underwear going up by butt. That had to be the most uncomfortable thing for me. But, it was temporary and the pictures were worth it. The next big step was actually seeing the pictures. I don't like pictures of myself (who does) but as I sat and watched these photos scroll across the big screen TV in her studio I was shocked at how beautiful they were. I couldn't believe that was ME in those pictures. It made me feel great to see how Darci captured a side of myself I thought I didn't have any more. I was sexy, I was sultry, I was even pretty darn gorgeous. The one thing I love about these pictures is they are so unlike many of the boudoir pictures you see from other photographers. Most of which are just glamour shots in lingerie. Darci is so talented in this art form. She is dedicated to helping women feel great about themselves, their sensuality, and empowering individuals through a wonderful experience. So when you're ready for a great experience, contact Darci for a Boudoir Session. Trust me, it's worth it.

From the beginning till the end, Hannah was attentive, meticulous, and always available, which is crucial when wedding planning. Her passion for love and photography exuded from maybe in just the first 10 minutes of our initial conversation and she is just such a genuine and positive person to work with! It was important to my husband and me to work with someone who is not just skilled in what they do but who is also joyful and works with a positive attitude. Hannah was a DREAM. Communication is the foundation of wedding planning with so many people involved; the venue, coordinators, vendors, and etc. Hannah was on-point and planned to the last second of our wedding day with my wedding coordinator (literally with a detailed time table). Also, I was planning my wedding from out of state and had to coordinate with Hannah to arrange our engagement shoot and what not and it was just so easy to plan with her. Hannah's style of photography was exactly what I was looking for. She uses a lot of natural lighting and there is a touch of warmth in every picture. We had a blast during our engagement shoot and I don't even like being photographed one bit! She just made it so easy and comfortable. On our wedding day, she went to the venue early to scout it first and find all the good spots and of course was punctual. Literally all of my bridal party still raves about how amazing Hannah is! LOVEEEEE my album. Even her packaging of the album and usb drive of the pictures is straight out of a fairy tale. Details, details, details and love, love, love!! I wish I had a fun life event coming up just so I could work with her again. She seriously captured amazing shots and I relive every moment of our wedding whenever I see our photos. My favorite is the shot she took when I was saying my vows and you can actually see the tears, the snot, and all the feels. Sighhh just amazing. Hannah truly cares and wants to tell your love story through her pictures and she does it with passion, style, and confidence. Might I add, she is oh so chic and stylish herself! I highly recommend her. You will be SO glad :)

We asked Hannah to choose the photos and layout for the album and it came out just so beautifully. She also added a cute personalized candle in our mailed package, which we are looking forward to lighting on our one year anniversary.
