I contacted her and she was very responsive and easy to schedule with and made the whole process run extremely smoothly. We took our pictures at 17 mile farm house. Taking pictures can get awkward and rather boring but Ashleigh made the whole experience way better then any experience I had ever had. I got the pictures rather quick and her prices are very reasonable and the pictures all came out beautiful. She has some true talent and that's a understatement. I felt like I looked like a model, lighting that she captured was stunning to say the least! I can not speak high enough about Ashleigh and the work that she does! She was terrible at giving directions (just turn, turn the other way, no the other way, move your hand, etc - entirely unclear) and would get mad at us when we didn't guess correctly what she meant. When we didn't pose the way she wanted, she would make sarcastic and snippy comments that made us all SO uncomfortable and made the whole shoot so awkward. And then she'd bark at you to smile! We did not get one single photo that we will ever use. I am so very sad and mad, not only that we wasted $500 but that we can't go back and get photos that we can actually use of my baby at this age again. We can never get that back. I would highly encourage you to think twice before hiring Christina if you have a baby - she absolutely does NOT know how to shoot babies. Or family groups. If you have any thoughts or opinions of your own whatsoever about what you want, she will not listen to you. When I told her what shots I wanted (which we had discussed over the phone and in email prior to the shoot) she yelled at me that she's the professional and basically I needed to shut up and do it her way because I don't know anything. I left the shoot in tears. It was truly awful. And surprise surprise, I've never seen less flattering photos of myself or my family in my entire life. There is literally not one single photo where you can see everyone's face and everyone has their eyes open! I truly believe she started taking bad photos intentionally after I didn't want to do one of her poses because even a non-professional photographer could capture at least one or two that were ok. Think twice before hiring her.

As soon as we met Amy and looked through her photos, it was clear she was the wedding photographer for us. We decided to stretch our photo budget a bit to hire her and it was *easily* one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding process. We booked a package that included an engagement shoot with her as well, and I cannot recommend that enough. It gave me and my now-husband time to get to know Amy, understand her working style, develop a relationship... And, as we left the shoot, my fiancé actually said to me, "That was fun!" (Fun! From a man who hates having his photo taken!) As we got closer to our wedding day, Amy reached out to me to discuss details and to ask if there was anything else she could do to support our planning. We met for a cup of coffee to talk through the day and so I could ask questions (I had many, as I'm sure other brides do as well) and I left that meeting feeling so much more confident about everything that was going to happen over the course of the day. Everything ran perfectly smooth the day-of and I can't emphasize enough how much all those involved with our wedding were so impressed with Amy. She gives really clear directions (without ever being bossy) and makes people feel instantly relaxed - I really, really believe that shows in our photos. Our wedding day was quite emotional (as they tend to be) and Amy was supportive, patient, and kind. She captured all sorts of small special moments and looking through our photos reminded me of so many details that I'm sure I would have otherwise forgotten with the craziness of the day. We are so thrilled with how our photos turned out - as are our family and friends - and we now have the incredibly difficult job of deciding which of our 1,000+ photos we want to print...
