Delicious dinner and great service! The appetizer platter was full of lovely complementary snacks. Frito misto fried perfectly, arranging, gorgenzola and pear brucetta. I had a branzino perfectly cooked and my table mates had pasta and saltemboca all lovely. We will be back!

Had a large family birthday dinner at this amazing new restaurant. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by the hostess. She made eye contact with me and spoke genuinely. The interior was nicely done, it felt very European. The aroma that filled the restaurant made my mouth water. It smelled fantastic. We ordered several appetizers. Polpette Della Casa, these meatballs were honestly better than my grandmother's recipe. Arancini Fritti, I have never had stuffed fried risotto like this, it was so delicious. Our next app was Bresaoloa E Burrata and the burrata just melted in your mouth. Last but not least was the Bruschetta. It too was amazing. We had baskets of freshly baked bread with a rich EVOO. I loved that everything is made in house. Their pasta is to die for. Their menu is quite extensive, they have something for everyone including Gluten Free. I am very impressed. Our large party of 10 ordered a variety of different entrees. We were beyond pleased with our selections. Our family tried a bit of everything. The presentation was beautiful but most importantly was how delicious it all was. I must commend our server and the staff. Our glasses were kept full, plates were constantly being taken away. The staff seemed to anticipate our needs and were so pleasant. I typically take pictures of all the appetizers and entrees but the smells were intoxicating and before you know it we had eaten most of the food. I didn't want to post photos of half eaten plates. Another major plus was that the owner came over on more than one occasion to check on our table. I give them a 10 out of 10 in every category. Atmosphere Service Food . This is now on my list of TOP restaurants. I recommend stopping in to give it a try, make a reservation because they do get busy.

Most of us were in the spirit.

We accidentally make a reservation on their "Phantom or the Opera" night, which made our dining experience entertaining in addition to tasty. We were greeted and given masks, and then seated immediately. Luckily we were near the piano, but not too close. Very talented piano player. Our server was very nice and knew the menu like she wrote it. No kidding, sounded like she had tried everything they served. This of course made selection of our main dishes easier. It was hard to tell what the ambiance would be like on a regular night because the place was decked out with a Phantom theme. Overall, nice layout, and even for the amount of commotion that night, the noise level was amazingly low. The food itself was just OK from my perspective. There were 4 of us, and 2 in our party really liked their selections. I tasted one of their pasta dishes and it was very nice. I had Salmon, which was nothing special. I think they should take it off the menu or make it Italian in some way. I could have had that same dish in a diner, it was just steamed with capers. I also had a side of pasta which was very ordinary. For some reason someone else in our party decided to have steak in an Italian restaurant, no Italian seasonings or pasta with it. They made one heck of a great Old Fashioned. If I'm in town again I'll give them another try and specifically have the whole meal Italian. Given the extra special night, that didn't upset their excellent service at all, it's hard to imagine these folks not having better Italian than I directly experienced.

Just amazing! Went last night for our 8th time, and it never disappoints! The food is just the best I have had since moving down here. The staff is amazing. I went for my birthday a few months ago, and they gave me a card! It was so adorable! Pasta is so fresh & the red snapper special was amazing! (For Caroline & the manager we talked to) it was so busy last night & yall really killed it! 10/10 1000% recommend!

Rounded up a 4.5! We had a great experience honestly. The only deduction was based on how hot it was in there - three of us were sweating out of our 4 party. Drinks were refilled regularly which is always fabulous. The appetizer was great (burrata), we all really enjoyed our main meals - they all also look spectacular. The desserts were all on point. Service was solid - they are still working through a few things and were honest with that which is welcome. The space is pretty and elevated for Mooresville which is very welcome. Also, love the black matte utensils. Gorgeous touch!

Specially requested vegan pasta

I'm in town visiting my Aunt and she took my family to this restaurant. She had been before but it was our first time. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The hostess was nice and accommodating when we asked for a different table. Our server was nice but I think she was a little weeded with too many tables, so the service was a little slow. The owner, Tara, stepped in and stopped by a few times to help her out. I asked about what I could have since I am vegan. She and the chef put together a whole off menu pasta dish for me. Campanelle was the only pasta they have without egg (besides unprepared orzo). And I asked if they could do a sort of piccata sauce without butter. So they made me a lemon white wine garlic sauce with capers! It was soo good. And I got some broccoli rabe on the side (normally sauteed with just oil and garlic). All my family really enjoyed their meals, eggplant Parmesan, lasagna and parpadelle bolognese. They have a scratch kitchen and welcome special request and off menu dishes if they can do it. The owner was really sweet and welcoming and it was cool to learn a little about her story. I wish her luck in this endeavor and if I am ever back in town I would love to come back!

Gaja barbaresco italian wine

Located in downtown Mooresville, Acqua Ragazza offers authentic Italian cuisine, made from scratch with a story behind in every detail and a very Italian environment. We began this adventure with the Octopus Carpaccio. You know I'm a seafood lover and with its acid vinaigrette and caper berries, this plate gives you another perspective on the octopus. I had a long time looking for meat carpaccio and this Italian seasoned thin slices of dry cured filet and fresh burrata here worth the wait. It was my favorite of the night. Thank you chef for bringing this fresh addition to our town. Perfect to share, we tried the Crostini di Pere e Gorgonzola. OMG!, the sweetness of the truffle honey mixed with the Gorgonzola cheese and the pear will give you a culinary orgasm. They also have the Antipasti Platter half size or the full tray. Perfect to pair this food I recommend the exclusive Italian Gaja Barbaresco 2021 A pretty red, elegant and expressive, offering strawberry, cherry, rose and mineral flavors. We moved to the main course and started with the chef special, Stuffed Pork Chops with nuts and a wine demiglazed. Then we continued with the Filetto Di Manzo. This beef tenderloin, cut in house, perfectly cooked, was so tender. Topped with porcini truffles, vegetables and potato slices, couldn't believe it was that perfect. Last but not least Branzino fish butterflied, topped with kalamata olives, red onions, and crumbled Gorgonzola in a light citrus sauce. Hey! I am not going to lie, I just love seafood. You know I had to try to the desserts, Limoncello and Tiramisu. Cheers cravers!!!

Pros: Food was delicious Seated fast Generous pours from the bartender Fast service Variety of options on the menu Large bar Attentive staff was always bring more silverware, refilling waters and ready to recommend adult beverages. Cons: Small waiting lobby (but make a reservation and wait at the bar if you must) We made reservations for 6:45PM through Google. The hostesses were ready for our arrival and we were slightly early. The ambiance was great for a date night with dim lights chandeliers and sexy atmosphere. The menu had Gluten Free options which I appreciated. Our waitress overheard that we were celebrating our friend's anniversary and it felt like seconds before she returned with an anniversary card that was hand signed by many staff members. These little touches mean so much! The special that evening was a braised beef something. It was melt in your mouth delicious and the portion size was great. I don't recommend the Tiramisu because of the portion was small and it was grocery store quality. However the cheesecake was great.

Bresaola and Burrata appetizer

Having recently returned from Italy, we were curious to explore the menu at Acqua Ragazza. Our waitress was helpful with drink and dinner choices, and our food came out hot and fast. It's hard to compete with authentic Italian cooking, so based on that high bar, I'd say our food was fair. I'd like to go again for date night or a special occasion to sample their other offerings. One caveat, in the open concept dining area, it got crowded and loud by the time we left.

Tagliere Di Salumi E Formaggi
Victor D.

To begin with, it is an elegant place, you can notice it by its elegant lamps, fine and cozy at the same time, it also has a huge patio to enjoy a delicious dessert or simply to enjoy the outdoors. To share we started with that charcuterie (Tagliere Di Salumi E Formagg) which was first class, followed by some (Bresaola E Burrata), and my favorite (Crostini Di Pere E Gorgonzola Pear and gorgonzola crostini with a honey truffle drizzle.) is an explosion of flavors that you can't stop eating. For the main course we ordered a delicious (Filetto Di Manzo Con Porcini E Profumo Di Tartufo) 8 oz beef tenderloin pan seared with creamy Italian porcini mushroom sauce, topped with shaved truffle and truffle oil. fresh vegetables and sliced potatoes on the side, which was spectacular, super tender, it looked like butter because it was so soft. and the chef's special is this delicious Stuffed pork chops with nuts and wine demiglazed. and to end the night, trying this delicious and creamy tiramisu made by the house, I recommend it and so we end the night thanks for the excellent attention directly from the owner of the restaurant. I can say that this restaurant met all my expectations and yes, you can go to an Italian restaurant not only to taste pasta. You also have other options.

What is the dress code for dinner?

Thanks for asking! We highly recommend business smart attire, and kindly ask our patrons not to wear ball caps. Our patio allows for more casual attire as well. We’ll see you soon!

Checked out some of the photos on line. My question is what are the gluten free options other than salmon?

Yes we do, thanks for asking! We have a couple of appetizers, like Caprese, Bresaola e Burrata,… Read more

From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.

Normally we would just go out and buy a case or so but with Covid and Supply Chain issues, stores were not able to get bulk shipments which meant that you had to go to multiple bottles. Started out at Total Wine and More in Birkdale and scored 4 bottles. Next tried Wine Maestro and despite the fact that it was 11:30am, there were no cars in the parking lot, lights were off and doors locked. Went to Olive Garden for lunch and while I was there, I called the store. Someone answered and I asked if they were open, and they said yes and they had been there from the time the store opened. Explained I what I was looking for as well. I explained that I had been there 30 to 45 minutes earlier and the lights were off, doors locked and no cars in the lot. The gentleman on the other end of the line said I was wrong and besides, they don't carry the Biltmore Wine. I don't like dealing with this type of untruthfulness.
