Instead of replacing this brand new dresser, DS sent furniture repairman to our home to put support underneath and reinstall drawer guides. A month later, drawer guides failed again; DS sent equipment and told us it was no longer under warranty. Hated decorators taste, felt like everything was from a catalog, a Fingerhut catalog. $4K recliner came with Doritos in back so pretty sure it was sitting in a warehouse somewhere. There is a large gouge in our new dining room table which DS declined to address. Bed headboard came with black streak and bed base came with water stain. DS paid for rental of upholstery cleaner and cleaning solution. The ottoman purchased specifically for back problems is too short in comparison to the couch and the legs are missing. He posted in response on the FB page that he has no idea "who this crazy person is" posting on the FB page, yet sent me the following email: Jeffrey Spradlin d*****s***f******@i*****.com to me, k******. Lise, you dreadful ungrateful liar. You did not spend a nickel on any of the items that YOUR SISTER graciously purchased for you. It would not matter if it came from fingerhut or goodwill or Bloomingdales because apparently you have no clue about anything. For you to go on Facebook and smear our good reputation is appalling to say the least and shows why you are where you are in life. We bent over backwards to drive 600 miles to give you a beautiful home and this is the thanks we get. Please rot in hell. My only saving thought is knowing what a dreadful leach of a person you are- I feel so sorry for your sister....You are a miserable human being taking up precious space on this earth....please donate everything we brought to you and go buy your own shit.... Sent from my iPhone I have tried working with this company for a year to get the items replaced or repaired. He has ultimately blown us off. My sister wanted to provide us a gift of furnishings and interior design services in our new home, during my retirement. She has used "K" for years in her own homes, even after K moved to GSF&D when her prior workplace closed doors. So my sister felt confident in engaging her services along with Jeffrey Spradlin at GSF&D to provide us with this gift. My sister paid all expenses that were incurred and billed: delivery fees, gas, food and lodging for all employees, including a rental car and flights home for K and her assistant. I am retired from my last career as an administrative assistant, providing 23 years of loyal service to NASA. I am not a leach, nor am I a miserable person. We have tried over and over to get the issues with our furniture resolved. Jeffrey has treated us poorly and has refused to make things right. I have given my sister updates over the months and she is beyond horrified at his latest response. Because it was a gift from my sister, Jeffrey expected me to be grateful for whatever was sent and not speak up. But I find that unfair to me and my sister. She did not get what she bargained for and it has been awkward to try and get things made right. I am grateful for my sister's generosity and my sister knows this many times over as I tell her this. My sister and K are left in the most awkward position from this business owner's lack of professionalism and integrity. I didn't even mention our new sofa in my original review. It was another item we had a quality issue with from the very beginning. My sister paid for high end sofa construction and upholstery. This is what it looks like one year later:

    I was very excited that I could afford to customize, personalize and stylize my home. We replaced…read morethe carpeted floor with porcelain tile. We did new window treatments in the kitchen, dining room and the living room. I received added value from Anne's suggestions for accessories to round out the new colors, shapes and the glamour! That was my first round with Interiors by Thalia. Round two was my boat. A 1974 Gulfstar Motoryacht. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and the main salon. We did new carpet, we reupholstered a favorite sofa and chair. We did wonderful window treatments and a 'shark-tooth' shower curtain. We called our boat Magnolia and I thought magnolia tree colors would be perfect. Anne suggested we add PURPLE to the palette and voila! we were in heaven. Round three, The master bedroom. Amazing vibrant green walls, a rose embroidered duvet cover and shams with bees (!), and sheer gold tissue silk valances with birds and beads that tinkled in the breeze - I was IN THE GARDEN all the time! Round four, the guest room and our work out rooms. New awesome colors of gold and green. Fabulous REVERSIBLE duvet cover with matching window treatment featuring full length panels and a beautiful pinched pleat valance. All fabulous wine leaf green against a sunset gold wall, I thought was in Italy!!!! We moved so it was time for Round five? Anne altered my window treatments to fit the new house. She recommended a closet company to expand the tiny closets in this older house. That was a BIG win. I obviously loved the fabrics and details. I didn't think I could afford design service like this but Anne kept working with me and I never felt I settled for something less than I wanted because it was less expensive! I am still living with her suggestions and designs. All making my everyday life so much better! B on the Emerald Coast
