    We had our home built and moved in June 2018. We thought we had a problem with our septic tank in…read moreNov 2019. Called out to have the issue resolved only there was no problem with the septic tank. The issue was the wiring. The septic tank was supposed to have it's own outlet as well as the flagpole. We discovered that someone was lazy during the installment process and ran both systems to one outlet. We called Alexander since it was their company who installed the wiring. The gentlemen who came looked baffled at the wiring. One guy even scratched his head like what is this and who did it? So they (re)ran the wiring properly and were on their way. Well to our surprise Alexander called to inform us that the problem was resolved outside of our warranty (by a few months) and we owe over $600. My question was where's the accountability and responsibility for the incompetent job that was done initially? Of course that question was never answered. So, being that we're pretty big on integrity we won't be recommending their services to anyone nor, will we be soliciting their quote unqote expertise again.

I was to have no payments in January or February. I am being billed on both accounts not even what I am supposed to be paying. I keep recanting my story . I am tired of the repetitiveness with no results . I had one supervisor help me . Ms. Eva . When she gave me to the corporate office, I was ignored . I never spoke to Mr. Marcus , after initial call. So I left voice message. He never responded. I am so annoyed with this service I have been a loyal customer for 12 years. I will cancel my service if I don't get a good resolution to my problem . I don't want another call from adt they are horrid. I have been calling them since November 2025. It is now February 2026 I have been calling many many times in the months that passed . Please can you assist me with a resolution.

    LIARS! I was contacted by Protect Your Home ADT Authorized Dealers in response to an online quote…read morerequest. They called four times in less than one hour. When I finally answered, I made it clear what I was looking for and it seemed they couldn't deliver. The representative (Michael) got his supervisor on the phone and she offered a free camera, with no fees or monthly monitoring costs, free fire / smoke / carbon monoxide monitoring connected to local authorities, and promised the monthly would be about $40 - 50. I confirmed no additional fees associated with the camera three times on a supposedly recorded line. The installation fee was all I had to pay up front and a $100 Visa gift card was to cover that. When the technician showed up, one of the first things she asked was whether or not I was aware of the $299 camera activation fee. This was totally unprovoked, now. Of course I didn't and showed her the copious notes I took from the recorded phone call. She advised that they didn't do outdoor cameras anyway, even though this was the offer that sealed the deal with the lying supervisor. After accepting that I had been lied to for a sale, I cancelled the installation and advised that I would contact the dealers since my credit had already been run and affected. I wanted to attempt to see if they would honor the false / misleading quote I had been given, or at least offset the cost with additional gift cards seeing as how I would be out of pocket the $299 activation fee and still need to purchase a $200 camera. I was hung up on, sent to customer care, sales, customer care, sales, told they didn't have anything to do with ADT, advised to call the number that called me, hung up on, placed on extensively long holds in an attempt to get me to hang up (which I did, but then called back for resolution), and then finally blatantly told by Sherry that she would not give me their information so that I could file a BBB complaint about it. She happily directed me to adt.com (the corporate site, not their authorized dealer site, mind you) and the Columbus technician center, so I filed the complaint against them and included Sherry's direction. I called back to let them know that I filed it against Columbus and would call Columbus to let them know she directed me their. Sherry did say she was in northern Kentucky, but that was all. I am putting this complaint out everywhere I can and have reached out to ADT Corporate. I'll keep you posted.
