My plumber takes the reference number to the store and this dude tells him that they don't honor warranties and only with a receipt can he talk to his ACW(whatever the heck this is) and go from there?!? Meanwhile, we had a leaky water tank and no dang hot water. Oh get this, this particular location only has the Ace hardware name but does not abide by any of the policies of the others.
