(3 July visit) I forgot that I posted these pictures without a review. I hadn't been here since I…read morewas early teens, so it was about 25+ years. The fishing has not changed, as the blue gill bite within 10 seconds when you fish around the pavilion as you first enter the park. That day was the first time that we took the trail all the way down to the next pavilion about a quarter mile or more down the trail, fishing success all along the way. The facilities are well kept and the families and summer school kids seemed to enjoy all that is offered at the park. We'll be back next fishing season to slay some more blue gills and fire up a grill.

The inflatables are HUGE--slides, climbing spots, and even a swing that had us laughing like kids. The whole area is great for a full day out. There are picnic tables if you want to bring lunch, a concessions stand for snacks, a splash pad for the little ones, and a regular swimming area if you just want to relax. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, and the staff was super friendly and safety-focused (life jackets for everyone). At $8 per person for a two-hour session, it's such an affordable family outing compared to other water attractions. We'll definitely be back--it's the perfect mix of fun, exercise, and summer vibes

A secluded county park not too many folks know about Yahr park is a nice place to take your family…read moreswimming or drop a fishing line. The park offers tiered parking and we always choose the closest possible Parking as there have been car break ins that occurred in the farthest lost when we've been here. Hopefully an isolated event! The lake has a clean spacious beach area with two shaded benches and lots of picnic tables to store your belongings or hold a bbq while the kids swim. There is a fishing pier and the lake hosts a lot of canoeing and kayaking. There also is a nearby upgraded playground with bathrooms. Located between West Bend and Fredonia your bound to run into neighbors or friends here if your from either area!

It's filled with serenity. There's a place. A beach to go swimming during the summer. Walking biking swimming and the scenery.

Lovely and unexpected conservancy in West Bend. The trails are fairly well marked, and they have Q…read morecodes that you can scan for information. Although, when I was doing it, it did not work. Also, bring your bug spray! A lot of the trail is wooded, and there were lots of flies and gnats. We also saw two Cranes in the woods. That was a sweet, unexpected moment. There also is a beautiful barn, which is used for weddings and, I'm sure other events. It would be a lovely venue to hold your wedding. We noticed they are building a children's playground on the property as well. Which looks like it's going to be adorable when it's finished! We really enjoyed our hike. It is not strenuous, and you can take many different trails. Would do it again in fall!

Some of the family still live on the land. It's a beautiful place to see and to walk around. They have quite a lot going on there. Check out the website and on Facebook. Taking our…read moregrandchildren, Madison and Owen, around in the golf cart has become one of those special family memories we always look forward to. There is excitement around every turn -- seeing the animals up close, hearing "Look, Grammie!" and watching everything through the eyes of kids is such a joy. We love that we can take our time, enjoy the beautiful setting, and experience it at our own pace. Every visit feels a little different and gives us new memories to take home. If you're looking for a fun family outing, especially with grandchildren, this is a wonderful place to spend the day.... and many return are in the future.

The Christmas decorations were so cute!!! So many nice signs with nature themes and reminders to take care of over environment. We will definitely be back!!!
