My son picked it up for me because I just got discharged from the hospital and cannot drive. What I received was a No. 4 and No. 5 system for rehydrating curly hair. When I called the store to report the issue, instead of receiving an apology, I was met with a defensive explanation about how things were scanned and that's what they rely on. It seems reading is out of style these days. They made no effort to help me. They just said, "Well, bring it back to the store and we'll figure it out." So much for customer service. I guess they think they can charge high prices for their products and treat people this way, expecting we'll keep coming back? I don't think so. They better do something to make up for this hassle. I won't be buying any more Oliplex from Ulta.

They are ALWAYS friendly toward me- know me by name and often make genuine personal conversation and inquire about how my projects are coming. Their products are good and very competitively priced- often beating big box store prices. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to lend a hand finding items, offering materials and method advice, or brainstorming how to accomplish a project. The free and fast delivery is reliable and the delivery drivers and are like heros who regularly brave my dodgy woods road and remote location to help ease my labors, and they do it with a can-do, gung-ho and adventurous attitude. Overall the sort of experience of what I can only imagine a community hardware store might have been like when my grandfathers were my age. While I love shopping at HomeGoods, after this experience Im unsure if I should continue to go if sharp objects are going to fall out. Considering most the stuff I buy are for children, I work with.
