When I received the bill I immediately contacted their Billing Dept and explained THEIR ERROR and that I was Not supposed to have been charged a copay. They looked at the computer, (Which of course said "Follow Up") and said Yes, you have to pay cause it was a Follow Up appointment. I kept trying to explain that it WAS NOT a follow up appointment but in fact my Yearly check up, but to No Avail! Then they told me to take it up with my insurance company! What?! Why would I "Take it up" with them when it was the OFFICE'S Fault?!!! Finally they told me the Supervisor would look into it and get back to me. You guessed it, No one ever did!!! I'm Done with them! Not gonna lie, I was truly disappointed with the way things went - and that's why I chose to go elsewhere for anything related to ear, nose, and throat. My ENT physician's name is Dr. Bruno Cardoso. He's affiliated with Yale New Haven Health Department of Otolaryngology and also works for Yale University Health Services. From day one, I've been truly amazed at how well maintained this office is. The staff are all so kind and welcoming. An absolute judgement-free I must say! Dr. Cardoso is very knowledgeable and helps me understand what is going on. He is very thorough, does not rush, and always takes the time to listen to his patients. Mind you, I am on the autism spectrum and Dr. Cardoso treats me the way anyone should be treated- regardless of their differences. I wish I knew about this office and Dr. Cardoso sooner, so then that way I did not have to deal with someone else who does not seem to care about his patients. One of the absolute best decisions I've ever made was making the switch from an ENT physician in Madison over to Dr. Cardoso! He's highly intelligent and always ensures that I receive the best course of care. Never once have I ever been pressured into any kind of treatment that I'm not comfortable with. Knowing that I am definitely in the greatest of care and the best hands with Dr. Cardoso is one of the greatest feelings in the world!
