Stayed here one night when I got stuck on a layover in Frankfurt. It was roughly a 30-minute drive from the flughafen (aka airport... But teehee, such a funny word) on the free shuttle provided by Achat. It was actually in a very nice area just outside the city... The hotel faced a big park, so it was nice to wake up to sunshine and greenery when opening the curtains. Rooms were big enough and very clean, and staff was very friendly.
But hands down, the best part of our stay was breakfast. When hotels in North America include free breakfast, it's usually sodium-bombed meats, half-cooked scrambled eggs, cereal, coffee and tea. I was expecting something similar here... NOPE! Before me was a wide array of hams, cheeses, spreads, breads, sausages, cereals, and eggs. SO GOOD. I will never forget that breakfast.
