In a word...... Easy!…read more Frequently traveling to and from FRA Airport, the Hilton Garden Inn makes life a lot simpler when trying to get out, without breaking the bank. It's a bit of a walk from the gates, but it's not too terribly hateful. There is a Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn within the FRA Terminal that makes life a lot easier for those who especially have early morning flights. Frankfurt traffic can be a bit of a nightmare and often times it's quite unpredictable. Without breaking the bank, you can spend the night conveniently at the airport for worry free arrival to your gate the next morning. The hotel is set in a mall type atmosphere with shops, fast food options and multiple restaurants. There's plenty of room to have a wander and go shopping instead of sitting around in your room. The next morning, wake up fresh and head to your gate. With the security check points being 10 - 15 minutes of a walk from the hotel, you'll be on your way in no time. Would I go back? Absolutely. A night at the FRA Hilton Garden Inn is almost a must each time I fly out of FRA. It keeps me sane and on schedule.

They we're empathetic, giving us drinks/ snacks as a kind gesture, even delivered a frfruit tray to our room. The room is small but comfortable- the bathroom door is unique- it can close the bathroom or swing in to close just the toilet area - oddly, next to a glass shower door as wall 3, but, a cool concept. All of that covered lunch & we eventually ordered in for dinner before falling asleep for 9hrs! Obviously, we slept well, but the REAL star here wasn't the room, it was the incredible staff!

The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the last few guests, finding their fluff, hairs etc. on the floor. Urine splash marks on the floor around the toilet and other brown marks near the toilet flush: The coffee cups in the room were dirty and not washed. We reported the room to reception when we went out the following day, but we found our room again surfaced cleaned. The same dirty cups, urine strains, fluff and hairs. Maybe room 144 was a poor room, but I have now read many more reviews after leaving. Avoid this dirty holiday.

So ein Zimmer im EG mit voller, großzügiger Verglasung bis zum Boden und fast über die ganze Wand ist schön - nur eben bedingt, nach Norden, bei schönem Sonnenschein und direkt in den ans Fenster angrenzenden Biergarten. Aber dafür hat man den elektrischen Rollladen.
