I sent in another form saying I was disappointed in the lack of response for someone who is in need of mental health care, they of course called soon after. They took my basic information and said that I will need to fill out an intake form that will be emailed. I still haven't received it. Neglecting someone in need of care is disgusting. The Dr. may be great, but I wouldn't waste my time on a place that doesn't prioritize someone in desperate need of help. Thanks for nothing.

Not only that, I heard through the grapevine that he wasn't a therapist at all but a life coach. I probably should have stopped seeing him right then but that's on me. Then there was the psychiatrist . I had a difficult time with him because I wasn't getting better and he wouldn't adjust my medication. He then suggested that I go to IOP. I had told him earlier explicitly that I would never enter an IOP or hospital again. It's a trigger for me and he knew it. All I needed was a medication adjustment. He seemed inexperienced at times. He seemed to give up on me and so did the therapist/life coach. Like they got to a certain point and just stopped wanting help me. That after a certain amount of time they'd done all they could do. And there was a lot more to be done. So that was the end of Regional Psychiatry for me.
