After disassembling it and getting it over there I dropped it off and before I got home they called me back and said it works fine nothing wrong with it come back and get it. I went home reinstalled it still would not come on. Now I'm thinking it's an electrical problem. So I disassemble the outside box, check all the connections turn the power off then back on still nothing. By now my pool has alligators and sharks so after calling a couple of listed recommendations of electricians near Winder with no answer I called Garrett. Not only did they answer on the third ring he was typing in my name phone number everything while I was telling him my problem. I was hoping it was a simple issue that I was overlooking but he gave me his cost upfront as I needed this done now, noon on Friday is never a good time to call so it is what I expected so we had no people in the office all were on jobs and he said for an extra $20 I can pull someone off a job and come take a look because it's probably something easy. I said go for it! By 1 o'clock a Garrett truck pulled into my driveway with two people ready to go get them to the fuse box show them the pool I went back to mowing the yard and within 10 minutes they found the ground fault receptacle on the side of the house next to the cable box which I have never seen(I just moved in a month ago) he reset it I threw in chemicals to the pool life is good! They text me their progress the entire time and a copy of the bill and we're super nice guys didn't even laugh at me for not being able to find the power outlet that actually powered the pool hidden behind the plants by the house. My water heater decided not to break on Tuesday evening, and I needed someone to come out and see what went wrong. It was roughly around 630 at night when I realized I had no hot water, so I Googled hot water repair services within my community. I called two plumbing services that were "near me" and both services told me I was out of their servicing zone. So I reached out to my neighbor and he gave me Aaron Plumbing's information. Now, but this time it was around 8:30 PM, but I still pick up the phone and gave them a call and a lovely lady answered the phone immediately. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was remarkably friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, and she went ahead and looked at the schedule for Wednesday. She told me that she could have a plumber out to my house between 8am and 12noon and I was excited that she was able to fit me into their very busy schedule. The young man, Tom Page, that came out Wednesday morning was also very kind and efficient. He was able to tell me that my water heater, which was the original to the house, would no longer be working for me, and that I would need a new one. I actually knew that I would need to replace my water heater at some point in time when I bought my home in 2019. But, as always, it's a disappointment even though you know it's going to happen. Tom actually had the correct water heater on hand and within a couple of hours had my water heater completely replaced. You'll see through the pictures below the old unit, and the new unit. When Tom was done with the installation, he walked me through exactly what he had done, he showed me pictures of what had been, and what was now fixed or replaced. We also had a great conversation on how to purge the silt in the bottom of the tank, once a year, to maintain the good health of my brand new water heater.
