They tell you to keep the receipt, and even have you sign off that you understand this is the way they honor refunds, like all businesses do. I showed them the receipt, and they planted another beautiful tree for free. No hassle. I have checked prices around the area, and they are the most reasonable considering the quality of their plants. I actually drive past 4 other landscaping businesses, and it takes 30 minutes to get there, but I know it's worth it. In addition, their customer service is great. Sometimes, I just need advice, and they are happy to answer any questions I have.

Stradler Nurseries came to plant trees on the border between my HOA (Armistead Park) and the HOA next door (Fairfax Landing). As I walked home from dropping my kids off at school at about 9:30am yesterday, I saw a Stradler employee with his coworker picking fruit off my tree and pocketing them IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! Keep in mind that I have a sign saying not to pick because it is stealing. As I approached, they quickly walked away so I could not talk to them, but one of the employees came back the next day with his boss so I confronted him then. After confirming they work for Stradler Nurseries, the employee suddenly said he couldn't speak English. Finally, the employee admitted he was at my house but he was "just looking at the fruit" but not stealing them. The boss repremanded his employee but took no other action. But then why did he gave giant orange fruit in his hands as he walked away?? I'm very disappointed in this company.

We spent a lot of time researching where to get them and saw many great reviews for Pryor's Nursery. I reached out with some questions and Wade was wonderful at addressing everything. He is incredibly knowledgeable and is happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have. Their prices were also very reasonable compared to other nurseries we looked at. We ended up purchasing 33, 10-foot tall green giant arborvitae and had Pryor's install them for us. The crew showed up on the day of the install and the trees were lush and many feet larger than we expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. Wade and his crew did a phenomenal job. They were respectful and clean. The installed trees and mulch bed look better than we could have hoped. They even installed a drip line with an automatic timer to help water all the trees! This is a very special place, It specializes in azaleas and rhododendrons. The owner grows his…read moreown and has over 350 named varieties of both evergreen and deciduous azaleas, including a number of very rare varieties you don't find elsewhere. In addition, he breeds his own azaleas by crossing others, and sells these unnamed one-of-a-kind varieties, some of which are absolutely stunning. The price of the azaleas is about half of what you pay in the main nurseries in the area (or even less). The owner is very knowledgable and pleasant -- he does it as a labor of love. It is very close to Butler's Orchards and is only open on weekends (check the website for hours). I stumbled on their website while trying to find a place o buy azaleas in the area, now that Benkhe's hass gone bankrupt. If you are planning to buy an azalea or rhododendron, I strongly suggest you make a trip to this place.

When you are on the left side, you will see a door that leads to the greenhouse. A good variety of plants, succulents, trees, indoor pots, etc. you can really take your time here. The value is on the higher end if you do end up purchasing here, but at least they have the variety so you're not just looking at a handful of species.
