Honestly, I should have done this sooner. Back in September I took my 02 Pontiac to this shop because a friend recommended them. I regret nothing, this shop is FANTASTIC! My car was over heating a lot and so I dropped it off on a Wednesday afternoon and it was diagnosed and fixed by Thursday morning. I worked that Thursday so I was only able to come after 4pm and when I arrived my car was ready to go. Jim showed me what part he removed and replaced and what was wrong with it. It was quick and I definitely would suggest this shop to anyone that has a car issue and is looking for a trustworthy place. read more

WOW.!!!!! Brought in my 2005 Ford Taurus with low miles (75,000). My transmission was slipping from 2nd to 3rd gears for over a year only drivable in low gear took it down there spoke to the owner Jimmy, he gave me an Free.Estimate told me the Estimated Price & Timeline picked everything up exactly how he said the price didn't change drove as though it was brand new again with a 1.year.warranty. I drove my car from Vegas to Anaheim and it started to make funky noises. I took the car to Ace Transmission on the recommendation from a friend in Vegas. The owner Jim was very nice and so was his mechanic (I'm sorry I didn't get his name.) The mechanic said that the belt was cracked and should be changed. Then I remembered that my mechanic in Vegas suggested that the belt needed to be changed soon. Anyways, Ace Transmission diagnosed and repaired my car in under an hour. If you are local or an out of towner and need an auto repair, go to Ace Transmission. They won't rip you off and service is fast! read more

I had my racing clutch and flywheel installed here back in 08. they quoted me a good price and i went for it. the mechanic did not seem to have any knowledge of my clutch tho, however its a well known performance item. well two years later, today my clutch goes out, i have them drop the transmission only to find a completely different clutch in my transmission. IM SO FREAKIN PISSED. changed out my $400 Jim Wolf clutch for some used $175 exedy replacement POS. im never going back here and would never recommend this company to anyone!! read more

I been using the services of ACE trans. From 2002 till Now with out a Problem (1987 Civic Clutch Kit Replace, 2001 Altima Trans. Overhaul, 2004 Pilot Trans. Overhaul, and some others for different problems) Sorry MR. SCOTT if you got the bad service in this place but in the future if you are driving with a Standard/regular Clutch and for whatever reason you decide to replace it for a High Performance/Racing Clutch you should felt the differences when driving the vehicle off the shop. I had my GMC Yukon transmission rebuilt here. 2,000 miles later, it went out completely and needed to be rebuilt again. They said it was covered under warranty, but when I picked it up, 5 days later, they said the transmission had gone out because my drive shaft was bent due to road hazard damage. I knew that wasn't true because in the 10 years I owned the vehicle I had never run over anything that would cause this type of damage. I had no choice but to let them replace it with a used one ($200). Then 1500 miles later, the tranny goes out again. They fix it again (another 5 days). And now after taking the car to another repair shop for an unrelated problem, the new mechanic tell me that the tranny is seeping fluid and it also looks like maybe it's been dropped because the housing is damaged! I ask the new mechanic to repair the leak. In the process of repairing it they discover that the used drive shaft is rusting away and is probably the cause of the leak. They recommend I get a new drive shaft. Bottom line - buyer beware. These people are both shady and incompetent. read more

I never write review. I have 2002 ford thunderbird small sport car 2seater, v8, 5speed automatic. sealed, no dipstick, slipping, no 1st gear. 89,000mi . I asked for trans service, nothing else except will not go into first, didn't charge more. he didn't have change so he gave me a $20 from a low cost service. I saved 100's. I need to go back and tip him good. take your car here 1st. I read reviews be4 I left my house, very good. plus I call at 2:15, I ask for today he' says 3:30 cool I left my house at 3:00. done at 5:00.finished. perfect. unbelievable. I called around, how much for just filter, adjust, change fluid not flush, . everybody wanted 150 more. read the reviews , talk to the customers and there might be a coupon some ware.
