One camera before the storm kept missing up and was not fixed. This is why we don't use people on Thumbtack! Thank goodness I have a family member that is a cop and good with cameras that can try to assist and give us next steps on what to do regarding this situation. Smh. These cameras are supposedly life time warranty but we'll rather pay for better service and new cameras!! The service with ADT had it up's and downs with the quality of service I experience with some of the service technicians when there was an issue with the security system but it was quickly fixed. The value of the ADT security for your business location or home residential is always great to have when your at home or on the road traveling and your needing your place secured during the day and night. How would I rate the service from ADT local office/staff and ADT customer service on phone/tech support its like anywhere else when something goes wrong they help you fix it if not over the phone they'll send a technician from the local ADT office to diagnose and fix the issue or replace it. ADT offers many different packages for their security systems and add on's especially outdoor cameras which is great to have to see whos at your house when you are home or elsewhere.

The ADT cameras are literally pointed directly at my car but there was absolutely no footage found by me or the police. The rep said that ADT cameras do not have night vision or infrared so the cameras cannot pickup movement at night. That is KEY INFORMATION that none of the ADT reps told me when they were so vigorously pushing there products and services. Then, just to check the response time for a call from ADT, I tripped the alarm to our house. It took someone from ADT 12 minutes to call. When I answered, the lady from ADT asked, "Are you okay?" I said, "Yes" in a shaky voice. She said, "Okay, have a good night." and hung up. She did not ask for a password or any follow up questions to make sure I was okay. The ADT representative that responds to an alarm is at least supposed to ask for a password. So, what you can do to make my "experience better" is actually do what all of your commercials with Vin Rhames touted so boldly "I'm ADT and I'm ALWAYS there!" The three times I needed ADT to be there ADT WAS NOT THERE!

They blew off an appointment this afternoon--no show, no one called or even texted. The whole point of hiring professional tradespeople is so you can trust the quality of the results. But if they can't even be bothered to make contact when they have to reschedule, then you can't trust them with your home. These people have lost my business because of their lack of professionalism and their unwillingness to communicate. I used to recommend them enthusiastically, but I can no longer recommend them at all.
