They are top notch in service and very reliable. Very professional and curious. We have used them several times and highly recommend them.

Electric water heater went bad over the weekend. I stopped by on Monday morning to see if they could fit me in for a replacement on short notice (we have out of town guest coming in tomorrow). They said they could fit me in tomorrow morning even though they were pretty booked. I was pleasantly surprised when they called today saying they could fit me in this afternoon. The guys came and installed the new water heater in a professional manner. Old water heater was carted away...and all this was done between 9 am and 5 pm from start to finish in one day! Thanks for the assistance...great job and great people to work with! read more

Several times, I've called this company, and they're my go-to plumbers. Yesterday Matt and Aaron replaced 45 feet of clogged drain pipe at my office building and gave the staff their kitchen back. These guys work hard and are very knowledgeable. read more

They did a job for me years ago and ran a gas line with flexible tubing and did a good job but charged me $1100 which seemed excessive at the time. I had a scheduled appointment this week and was told 10-12 am and received a call at 7:45 am call me back I'm ready to come out. I called back and he didn't answer so I called Ace back and was told he went to an all day job and will come later in the day when he is done. I said I work and won't be home and the lady very smartly said I don't know where you work. No thanks! They royally screwed this up then get smart with me. I would recommend staying away from them. Apparently the customer is important doesn't apply to this company. read more

Do not use this company! They quoted us a price to come out and snake a pipe and never once mentioned drive time cost. They did not bring any drop Cloths or anything to keep our floors clean as they walked through the house with their sewer covered boots on. The area that the pipe is located at was our storage room and they have to walk through our family room to get to the bathroom in our family room is carpeted and my kids play on the carpet and they walked through there many times with their dirt covered boots soaked in sewer water. They did not bring any buckets to catch the sewer water when they open the pipe and so they had to use our sterile buckets that my husband uses for his fish breeding business and now we had to dispose of those buckets. They did not asked to use them either. When it came time to clean up the mess they asked me for bath towels or a mop. They should come a little bit more prepared because I'm not giving you a bath towels or the mop I use to clean my kitchen floor. My husband spoke to somebody in the office and their only response was that the plumber offered to clean up and that we said we would do it ourselves. I do not think that offering to clean it with my bath towels in my kitchen mop should be considered them offering to clean it. When we got the bill and it was $40 more than what we were quoted and the time that he put down as the time he was here was not correct my husband called and spoke to them and they then told us about the drive time and if they have been doing it for decades but we were never told about it. We never would've use them if we were told about it because we've never had another company charge drive time. In fact, the plumber told us that it's 150 an hour when he arrived and never once told us about drive time either. They were here from 8:20-8:55 and wrote down 8:00-9:15. read more

Ace Plumbing & Heating - They left sewer dirt all over our floors. - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Stevensville, Michigan

Like the other review on Ace Plumbing and Heating, I will never recommend this company, nor use them ever again. I needed a simple inspection done on an in-ground irrigation system, needed by code every couple years. This is one of the few companies that are licensed to do this work. My township said that this inspection service does not cost anything, yet, they charged me for inspection and testing my system. My next call will be to South Haven authorities letting them know that they charged me for this free service. I spoke with Jamie in their office regarding this charge and she we very rude and thanked me for never contacting them again for plumbing work. She need not worry about that. I also thought others should know how they treat their customers. Also, I need to put in a new valve on the system. I received an estimate on their parts and their mark up ranged from 87-300%. I ended up purchasing the parts myself and saved a lot of money. Their explanation for their pricing was that their part supplier charged them that much and they had to pay for shipping. I ordered my part from Amazon at substantial savings and it was here in 1 day with no shipping charges. Steve the plumber, and I am told, the owner, was good to work with but their office staff, particularly Jamie, needs to be replaced. Don't call this company. read more

Very happy with Ace Plumbing & Heating! Steve, the owner, quickly fit us in to do an inspection and assess damage for a mortgage review. Once received, Matt did such excellent work - knowledgable, relentless finder of leaks, replaced our old system with a Navien system, new pipes and more. They made sure everything was working and got the house fully functioning. Friendly and professional. We'd definitely work with Ace Plumbing & Heating again. read more

We have had them come out a number of times and always were professional and fixed things other companies either quoted us too pricey or said wouldn't be easy to fix. They have given Us reasonable quotes and work has been great. read more

Do not call them. Called them to hook up water to our fridge, replace or fix tub drain, and fix leaking kitchen faucet. When done they left $580 worth of NEW problems that they caused. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Crooks! If you need a plumber for a specific problem that you informed the company about prior to service, why would the technician need to leave the job site to go to a store and buy parts? Oh, did I mention he was gone over 30 minutes! Stalling perhaps to in order for me to pay more money for a crappy job. I should have called the professionals. read more

I was in Michigan visiting my hospitalized mother when we had a problem with the kitchen sink drain. Not knowing anyone in the area, I should have checked here on Yelp before calling Ace Plumbing & Heating in Stevensville, but alas, I was in a hurry and did not. And boy it cost me! Michelle P. and I had pretty much the same experience. They took 4 -- FOUR -- hours to clean a kitchen drain. After 2 hours they decided they didn't have the right tool to complete the job and had to go back to the shop to get it. An hour later they returned and took yet another hour to finish. I ended up being billed 4 hours -- including their travel to and from the shop because they didn't have the proper tool in their van -- for a job that should have taken less than 2. When I called the office to complain, the lady was nice enough but said they "don't have room to carry everything in their van." What?! We're talking about a drain rootor about the size of sewing machine! No way I would recommend this company to anyone. Ever! read more
