I have been a customer of Repubic Service for a few years. Their has been multiple missed trash…read morepickup and I have watched them miss recycling and then dump with the trash pickup. But now I'm done with them!! I had missed trash again. Trash pickup is Thursday. I emailed them Fri to state they only took 1 can & left other. Called Mon & they stated their sorry they will have picked up immediately. Called again today a Wend & now they told me the trash is too heavy, 50lb weight limit per can, and I need to sift thru my trash & make it lighter. WHAT!! Then why are cans so big if u cannot fill them! I've been told by customer service to weight my can for future pickups and dig thru my current can and make it lighter. Who tells their client that!! Never informed me the first 2x that was the problem. They record all their calls so I hope someone higher up listens to that recording.

Had the unpleasant experience of encountering one of their drivers in one of their smaller mechanic…read morevehicles. The driver was brake checking cars, driving in between the lanes as to intentionally not allow cars to pass, and generally not being safe. I wanted to get away from their reckless driving and had an opportunity to pass them. This apparently displeased the driver, who decided that as I was beside them in full view and making eye contact with them to run me off the road and into the grass median. I thankfully had control over my vehicle or it could have been much worse. I had done nothing to this driver, I did not tailgate. I did not make any gestures to them. I was just trying to drive home from work, and their driver decided that driving aggressively was acceptable. I called the company and they said that they would send it to the "higher ups" and I would receive a response, but I have not received any correspondence. This is not an issue you can sweep under the rug and ignore like it seems this company does with every other complaint. I can see why there was a lawsuit filed against this company, they are unprofessional. This driver could have killed people, and it seems like the company is ok with that.
