Steve removed and examined the fan and quickly determined the problem was not the fan, but the exhaust piping. I can't say enough about Hilman Constuction. My husband and I met with Chris approximately a year…read moreago about remodeling two of our bathrooms. During our initial consultation he impressed us as very knowledgeable and someone who would be easy to work with. Our impression turned out to be spot on. Initially, the project was estimated to take approximately ten to 12 weeks but due to events completely on our end, having to start and stop the project several times, it took about a year to finish. Throughout it all Chris never missed a beat and was completely understanding and accommodating with his schedule. Then when I told him I needed my half bathroom on my first floor turned into a full bathroom he creatively took space from an adjacent closet and made it work beautifully. He was also very collaborative about ideas for our two bathrooms upstairs. We were working with a designer who developed the plans for the upstairs bathrooms that turned out not to be completely workable for the master and Chris came up with ideas to still give us everything we wanted and actually made it look better than the original design. He is a contractor, along with his team, that you can count on to give you solid and informed ideas and solutions and I look forward to to working with him in the future and I recommend him without hesitation.

I turned to Yelp -- and thankfully, it led me straight to the right person. Pat from AnyFix came out promptly and quickly diagnosed a short that had knocked out my parents' porch light -- something that could've been a real safety issue, especially since my dad has trouble seeing in the dark. Pat was not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also incredibly kind, honest, and professional. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, fixed the issue perfectly, and made sure everything was safe before leaving. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people, not just getting the job done. I'll definitely be keeping his number on speed dial for any future repairs. If you want someone who's dependable, personable, and knows their craft inside and out -- call Pat at AnyFix. You'll be glad you did.
