I was aware of this Surplus sale but never got to check it out until today. Everything was priced at extremely cheap prices. An aluminum book shelf for $20? A college lab microscope for $5? Yeah, I was impressed. There's mostly office supplies to be found here like chairs, desks, computer screens and desktops, filing cabinets, etc., but there's also random stuff like a barbecue grill and old vinyl records going for $3. If garage sale hunting or thrift purveying is your type of thing, you have got to check this place out. According to the guy in charge, they get different random stuff in all the time. The employees are super friendly, chill dudes. And yes, you can haggle! One thing to note: items are sold as is. You're welcome to plug in equipment and test it before buying though. He was extremely helpful, well versed and accomodating. As I was leaving, his boss came in and started ranting that "we cannot spend all of this time talking to you". When I said I was thinking about purchasing a new computer from him or having service on my existing machine he again said we cannot spend all of this time with you. I was there for approximately twenty minutes. I called a few minutes later to speak to them once more and again spoke with the owner. I mentioned how rude he was and he said he didn;t think he was and then when I said "don't you want my business, he said "no I do not". This was not professional behavior. Based on this experience I do not recommend doing business with this company.
