Yesterday I walked in pretty skeptical from the other reviews I'd seen of the shop, but upon entry I was greeted by a positive, enthusiastic man named Steven. With a smile, he instantly asked me what he could do for me and I asked him if he had 4, 1 oz Eagles in stock. He apologized since he didn't have any at the moment, but he said he'd be able to get me some by tomorrow afternoon, which I thought was incredible responsiveness to a customers need. He allowed me to lock in the spot + premium at that moment, which I also really appreciated, and I thought the premium of $50 over spot for gold was extremely generous. I came in today to pick up and he said he was only able to get 3, 1 oz Eagles but he kept his word and offered to replace the last Eagle with 4, 1/4 oz eagles at no additional price increase even though fractional usually carries a lot higher of a premium. Absolutely incredible customer service from this place. I'll definitely be coming back for all my numismatic needs. read more

Customer service is awful- they make you feel like an idiot just for walking in the door.

Let me start off by saying, I have bought lot's of silver from this gentleman. I sent my brother over today to possibly do a trade, plus pay some cash for some larger silver, in exchange for some smaller silver, making it fair for all involved. The owner told him that the bars he had are not "known". and that he didn't know if he could even buy them or if anyone would even buy them if he did buy them. They are literally sold on every major silver and gold dealers websites in the world. They are a large player in the Silver game. Having being bought from APMEX who is the leader in the industry, he knows dang well they are real and worth every single bit of its weight in Silver. He "Steven" the owner, needs to stop messing around with people who are very smart, and may know more than him, if not just as much as him. Steven plays people for fools, makes you think whatever you have is not worth anything, no matter the value. My advice, DO NOT GO TO HIM for anything. The other ironic thing is he sells me second hand silver. When it comes to buying it back, he acts like it is worthless. Silver is silver and it doesn't much matter where it comes from as long as its 99.9%. He has testing equipment for these things. He should stick to paying people very little for collectors coins and stop pretending to be a silver dealer and trying to take advantage of the common folk. I will also never go back to him for anything from this day forward, and I will steer all my wealthy friends to his competition from this day forward as well. A word of advice Steven, do not bite the hand or hands the feed you!! Maybe West Valley was a better place for your shop. People out here are just a tad bit smarter, with lots more money. Not very friendly or helpful. It was my first visit to this shop. Upon entering the store, the gentleman in the front office simply said "What do you need?". No hello, no welcome to Ace Coins. I asked if he had any vintage banknotes and he pointed to the cases on the back wall acting as if i was too stupid to notice for myself. I wanted to leave immediately, but decided to look around. I did find a specific note that I have wanted for some time and I would have likely purchased it today if I was treated differently. I will not go back. I imagine he does most of his business online, because if he didn't there is no way that business would survive. It costs absolutely nothing to be kind. read more

They really don't even deserve1star. They are the worst people to deal with and the WORST customer service I've ever seen.They are pompous, egotistical and narcissists. They steal from everyone and lowball you on bulk silver and gold . On valuable coins they grade them at least 3 grades lower than they are. You will most likely just get an average, so-so deal at Ace Coins in South Jordan. Don't expect any quantity discounts either. To be fair though, there are quite a few people buying gold and silver right now, so they probably don't feel the need to offer any quantity discounts. They will answer your questions, but if you are new to buying gold or silver you may come out of there a little confused. They may just be tired of explaining everything to all the newbies. over all it's an ok place to buy precious metals in a pinch, price was a lot higher than over spot and the more you buy the price stayed the same over spot unlike the online stores. Tried seeling me a round with a coin premium. I bought stuff anyways to spend some cash but I wount be back to buy more. read more

This place sucks. Horrible customer service. Came in ready to buy and left with nothing. Was greeting with a horrible attitude by a guy who shouldn't be interacting with the public.
