I saw Ken McDonald for my visit to establish care. Mr McDonald inspected my hearing aids, vacuum cleaned them and replaced the filters and earpieces. He inspected my ear canals. He tested my hearing in both ears, noting some higher frequency hearing loss bilaterally. My hearing aid serial numbers were downloaded and Ken said any warranty work would be handled by them. The hearing aids settings were changed from "new" to "experienced", thus giving me a slight boost in higher frequency sounds. This helps me with speech recognition and understanding. There was a nominal fee for the office visit today which I gladly paid. This office was found to be convenient, professional and helpful in all regards. Ken was friendly, personable and respectful, professional in all respects. I would highly recommend this office for any hearing concerns, including assuming management of hearing aids and other hearing needs. Ken has my endorsement in all aspects of care.

I scheduled a complimentary hearing assessment appointment with HearingLife because I noticed I was…read moresaying "huh" and "what" quite often and thought my hearing was affected. Conveniently located with a private parking lot, I was warmly greeted by the person at the front desk. After completing the intake paperwork, I was offered coffee or hot tea, and soon after I went back for my appointment. My hearing specialist reviewed my paperwork, talked over my responses, and then did a Quick Look inside my ears with a camera to look for visible damage. It was cool! After, I was taken to a soundproof room where the hearing test was conducted. Nothing hurt or pinched, and I was amazed at how thorough the test was. I received my results and then they were explained to me on a level that I could understand. I highly recommend HearingLife if you feel you have hearing loss and would like a professional opinion.
