Do not use Accrue Partners!! They were helping me find a new position and I expressly instructed them NOT to inform my current employer that I was seeking a new job. Then I received a phone call from my boss advising me that the AccruePartners told them that I was job hunting. Now my severance package is in jeopardy; not to mention my relationship with the company. I do not like burning bridges and now I have no choice. Find a different route. read more

While at the party I spoke with Meagan & Ayana, who were very professional & friendly. They gave a full rundown of how their agency works & explained the process for becoming a client. Their office is very modern & open. They service quite a few big name clients in the Charlotte area. With contract & temp-to-perm positions, they have plenty of choices for clients to chose from. I have never actually worked for them on a contract but have been submitted for several positions. They a ton of different recruiters that focus on different types of position so that you can get to know the 2 or 3 recruiters who focus on your specialties. They have always been professional and helpful when submitting me for positions. I recently went to a LinkedIn party sponsored by Accure Partners which was really great. They had a professional photographer to take pictures for us. How often do you get a new picture for your LinkedIn profile? All the recruiters were out and about which gave me and opportunity to get back in front of them again. read more

I was contacted by one of the recruiters from AccruePartners. Having worked with other recruitment agencies in the past, everyone always followed up, regardless of the outcome. But this was not the case with Accrue. They do not follow up. In the future i will not conduct any job search through AccruePartners. It's really waste of time and I will be saving my time when working with recruitment agencies that actually put an effort to professionally represent me. read more

I was reached out to by a recruiter from Accrue Partners via LinkedIn over a year ago when I had first started looking for jobs. This recruiter sits in their Charlotte, NC location. I will be polite and not say his name. We scheduled two different times to connect over the phone. He failed to call on both occasions. He finally calls me at an unscheduled time and ask me to come into their office to meet and discuss what I am looking for. He learned about what I was targeting and said he was setting me up for an interview. He went over all the details for what the interview will be like and that he would send me a follow up email with a specific time and address. After I left this recruiter ghosted me. Would never answer another one of my calls or emails. I should have seen this coming seeing he failed to call me in the first place and I had to follow up with him both times letting him know that he missed our call. Two years later when I am on my second job he has the audacity to send me a letter at my new place of employment congratulating me on my new job and his business card inside for the future or my friends. Needless to say both went in the shredder. read more

Not the worst company in the world but I'll put it this way. If you're a candidate with a lot of experience like myself it's frustrating to work with their recruiters. Most of their recruiters are just a few years out of school. This in and of itself doesn't make them bad, and there was one I spoke with that I was able to have a decent conversation with. The three others I spoke to over the past year you can tell just didn't know how to carry themselves professionally- poor communication skills, had difficulty answering questions about the jobs they were presenting to me, just a poor job selling the position, their company and most importantly themselves. I respect everyone's right to earn a living but I find it funny how so many of these recruiting companies, which are the business are placing people in jobs, have staff that clearly know so little about how job markets and workplaces operate. They're really come up sounding just like glorified telemarketers. For companies looking to work with a recruiter, I'm not just picking on Accrue. There are other companies in Charlotte that operate similarly going with inexperienced young staff to save money. Accrue just happens to just be my most recent bad experience. If you do need a recruiter, I would seriously encourage you to look at the backgrounds at the staff employed (this info can easily be found on LinkedIn) and go with a company with an experienced staff. There are firms which employ those with actual experience in the industry they recruit in which makes it easier to work with both for the recruiter and the company looking to higher. Or better yet with powerful online sites like Indeed and Ziprecruiter just to name a few, I think you're better off conducting a search on your own. The work recruiters do can easily done in-house for far less money with not a lot time expended. I respect the work recruiters are trying to do. They're not bad people and most of them are doing the best job they're capable of. Good Afternoon I have a had a extremely horrible time with your company that I do NOT refer anyone to your company. Years ago I was looking for a job and I was referred to your company thru my MBA program as the company that was helping recent MBA grads at strayer university to secure the jobs that we deserves. My particular event started with not getting calls back, then I moved to applying to every position that you guys had at the time and slammed the office with my resume to get someone, anyone attention (it was totally unprofessional for me to have handle it that way), yet I got a call back. I got called into the office. During the time that my interview was during their reinvention of the office beside Chipotle. I literally sat there for 1 hour while no one addressed and finally got up and left the building. the reception at the time asked me if I was ok and I told her no and everything that happened. For this event I do not refer your company to any company that I work with or any looking for a job. If you would be so kind to send out a memo to your staff no to contact me in the future, fore I know that GOD had provide with GREAT companies that truly live my their motto and values of their companies read more

I worked with Accrue a few years back and will not forgot the terrible experience that I had with them. Accrue originally placed me in the first job I landed when I moved to Charlotte, unfortunately, that company did not last very long and layoffs were done a year later. I reached out to Accrue again to find employment and worked with an individual by the name of Ben. I eventually interviewed for an position with a privately owned firm, after having 4 interviews not to mention a "work" interview, and still no offer on the table, I discussed my fears about this position with Ben, who in turn relayed the conversation to the employer. When I confronted Ben with this he indicated that he felt the need to share with his client. My past dealings with recruiters are that they want to keep you interested, especially if someone is showing interest in you, not stab in you in the back. I went on to be unemployed for another six months until I was fortunate enough to find employment without the use of a agency. But years later, I am still stunned by his actions read more

Being unemployed and searching for a job can be an extremely humbling experience. Some organizations and people lift you up and some leave you feeling totally degraded. Accruepartners fits the latter category. They fail to honor even the most basic of their commitments (e.g. I will have someone get in touch with you; I will get back to you by..., etc). Moreover, while I could never prove it, I feel they discriminate based on age. I defy you to find anyone who works for them who is over 35 years old, let alone 40 or 50 years old (except the owners, of course). While it is great that they have professional photographers at their LinkedIn party, it is just one more example that there is no substance beyond their "style." read more

My company closed down last year. I have worked in the past and recently, through a few different agencies in Charlotte. Accrue is by far the best. I have worked with both Julie and Shannon and they are very professional as is the whole office staff. I worked two contract positions through them for top notch organizations with very competitive pay. Unfortunately neither worked out - one of the reasons is that Accrue sends other applicants for the same job you are working in! That is very bizarre - when I asked about it they told me they do what the client asks but I felt they should be working for ME - to get me a position. I will work for them again if the position I am in now does not pan out (only if they don't keep the position - it was created because of growth), which I am working through another agency... who by the way has not checked on me the entire two months I have been here. Accrue does check in with you, any issues you have are resolved quickly and they want to make sure you are happy and the client is happy. One thing though and it is VERY apparent at Accrue - but I think you have to realize that you are not the client, you are the product. And while they want it to work out because they get that commission and they are friendly and professional, in the end, if they are sending other applicants, it really doesn't matter who gets it as long as Accrue gets it. Make sense? In other words, no matter what agency you work for, they are working for the company, not you. They want you to do well but with Accrue, they have more top notch applicants so they have a better offering for their clients; i.e., you are in competition with their other recruits. Which is not to the contractors advantage. That said, may be why they don't return calls expediently while you are waiting. While they've been polite, I have even had them say in an email, ' we will call YOU when something is available' - and I was really trying to talk to them about something else. It is hard to get in touch unless you are on an assignment, and therefore frustrating but they are extremely busy and do have the best companies to work for; so it is what it is. I have recommended Accrue to several friends whose jobs have been cut - only highly skilled friends, mind you because I don't believe they work with the lower level companies/positions most employment agencies do. In my experience, other places just want to place a warm body in a chair wherever to get the fee. I do believe Accrue is looking for permanent placements, it is just they have many qualified applicants and are going to offer all of them to their client companies, which makes it tough even if you are great. read more

If I could give this staffing agency a 0 star rating, I would. They are horrible. I have applied for numerous positions that they have posted on their website. I submitted my resume numerous of times and not one call to even acknowledge receipt of my resume or even to call me into their office to set up an in person interview. I definitely have the qualifications that are required on their job postings. They are not an equal opportunity employer. read more

I was referred to this Accruepartners from a friend that is using their services. She painted a good picture. However my experience is far from good and honestly terrible business practices. I submitted my resume over a couple months ago without any response from the company addressing if they received my information. I followed up with several calls leaving messages and had not received a single return call. Today I finally got past the receptionist (who by the was eager to get me off the phone and seemed to be irritated that I was wanting feedback) When I finally spoke with a recruiter, she advised that they get hundreds of submissions and if your experience is not triggered by their database your resume is not addressed and you are not given the courtesy of a call. So you are just a number to them, there is no personal touch or even consideration for your efforts. Better of applying thru Career Builder or Monster. After my call and their attitude to me, don't worry about following up with them, they are too busy to bothered by a potential candidate following up. read more
