I started my phlebotomy program in April 2025 with the best teacher Mr.Paul. I finished the end of…read moreApril and took my state exam beginning of may. I've waited almost a year just to get placed at a site for my externship and had to get moved three times and finally finished mid January 2026. My experience with the school itself was terrible, the communication is terrible staff is terrible, except Janet. They literally will talk about other applicants that came to enroll after they leave and ive seen it firsthand!! I needed a simple answer to a question that took two minutes and was calling the school all morning no one was answering so i had to drive all the way to the school and as i was walking in the school i was calling and the phone was ringing and jasmine was at her desk talking and laughing with another staff member ignoring the phone when the question i had literally took two minutes. They never have a permanent coordinator for your externship they're money hungry. As long as you pay / make your payments on time they can care less because for no reason getting a externship site assigned to me should've took nine months after they told me at enrollment i should be done in may 2025!!!! I am not the only person that this has happened to either I've met pervious students who have been waiting longer! I don't recommend this school at all , they're just lazy and money hungry, and the bathroom has a permanent stench.

I have been receiving massages at Milan for many years. The student therapists are all near their…read moregraduation, and every single massage given by them has been wonderful. And the price is so incredibly low that it's hard to believe, ESPECIALLY when compared with all the hotel spa services and private massage salons in the Coachella Valley. But, today was the all-time best. My therapist, Ashlyn, was simply incredible. A real natural with a great "feel" for her craft. I have received hundreds of massages over the years, but this was one of the very best of all of them. When I checked out to pay, I was met by Heather, who was was extremely professional, personable, and efficient, and booked me next week for my next massage with Ashlyn. These two individuals, Ashlyn and Heather, and Milan massage institute in general are all highly recommended! You simply can't go wrong here!

I've been a regular customer at the Milan Institute in Palm Desert and have visited approximately…read more12 times. I've had my hair cut, colored, high lighted, manicures, pedicures, full sets and skin care appointments, and the students have consistently done a wonderful job. My services have always been enjoyable, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. My concern isn't with the students it's with how the advertised senior discount is now being applied. The Milan Institute advertises a 20% Senior/Military Discount on hair, nail, and skincare services. For all of my previous visits, the discount was applied in a way that matched my understanding of the advertisement. However, during my last appointment, I was told the discount only applies to one service on my ticket instead of all eligible services received during the same visit. As a senior on a fixed income, that made a significant difference. My appointments that were typically around $110 increased to more than $160 because of how the discount was calculated. Palm Desert and surrounding areas have a large senior population, and many retirees choose Milan Institute because they believe they're receiving a meaningful senior discount. If the discount is intended to apply only to the highest-priced service on your ticket or only one service per visit, I believe that limitation should be clearly disclosed in the website advertisement so customers know exactly what to expect before booking multiple services. I'm giving two stars because the students continue to provide excellent work, but I want other seniors to be aware that the advertised discount may not be be applied the way they might reasonably expect. I truly hope Milan Institute clarifies its senior discount policy so customers can make informed decisions.

I'm someone who completed the Electrical Program at CET. Even though I had a great relationship…read morewith everyone at the school, I still want to give future students an honest perspective on the program. If you're looking for a program you can complete relatively quickly and you're willing to put in the time and effort to learn the trade, you can succeed here. However, from my experience, you will have to depend heavily on self-learning and help from classmates. I personally felt that the instructors in both the AM and PM classes could have been much stronger in the classroom and more hands-on in the lab. When I first entered the program, I knew absolutely nothing about the electrical trade, so most of what I learned came from putting in the time to teach myself, practice, and learn from my classmates. Another issue was materials. We would sometimes run short on electrical materials and have to wait a while for more to come in. Even when they finally arrived, the amount we were allowed to use was limited, which made it harder to get as much hands-on practice as we should have. I think future students should know is that job placement assistance was not what I expected. The school tells students that they will help with finding employment, and the website mentions "Job Placement Assistance," but in my experience, I had to do most of the job searching and applying on my own. My biggest piece of advice to future electrical students is: once you receive your ET card and OSHA 10, start applying immediately. Don't wait until graduation. Apply everywhere, email electrical companies directly, call companies, and go above and beyond to get your foot in the door. CET can give you an opportunity to enter the electrical trade, but you need to be consistent and willing to teach yourself, practice, ask questions, and actively pursue employment. Your success will depend heavily on how much effort you put into it.

I had a positive relationship with the director at my trade school. Due to needing to prioritize my…read moreresponsibilities as a father, I informed the school that I needed to take a temporary leave of absence to ensure my personal obligations were properly handled before returning. The school approved a 90-day leave agreement. However, around day 82, before the agreed period ended, the school contacted me and informed me that my program was being shut down. They also stated that I would not receive my certificates and that I would still be responsible for outstanding fees and payments, despite the program being discontinued before I could complete it. I would not recommend this school. As a nonprofit organization, they often experience delays in receiving materials, sometimes taking two to three months. The staff's communication with students is unprofessional, and they do not provide meaningful assistance with job placement after completion. However, if someone is simply looking for a way to pass time, this school may be an option. Mr.Bridges

I am a former spa owner who has worked in the Wellness Industry for over 20 years and can say that…read moremy experience here, specifically with the "teacher" Leasanne, was not only astoundingly unprofessional, but downright traumatic. I was new to Hot Yoga and the Palm Springs area, so I purchased a 30 day pass with the intention of trying all the classes and finding community. The first two classes I took were amazing and did wonders for my body, which was totally locked up from a lifetime of trauma and autoimmune issues stemming from Autism and ADHD. While my disabilities are "invisible" I am used to people picking up on them and treating me differently as a result, but I never anticipated being bullied and harassed by a yoga instructor and classmates in what is supposed to be a healing and supportive environment. When I was unable to keep up with the pace of the class, which is described as "all levels welcome" Leasanne became very aggressive in singling me out with impatient corrections. Half way through the class, she came stomping over to me while I was on my back, put her beet-red sweaty face within inches of mine, sweat dripping down on me, and yelled at me for "defying" her. When I informed her that I was listening to my body and that I would continue to move at the pace my body allowed, she became even more angry and said it wasn't a Yin Yoga class and I needed to respect her authority. Last I checked, I am the authority over my own body, but either way, I've never been in a yoga class where the instructor took issue with someone doing child's pose or something similar if they needed a break, especially in a 110 degree room where over-exertion could lead to serious medical emergencies. Leasanne spent the entire 90 minute class chastising and attempting to humiliate me for my disabilities: 1. ADHD - Auditory processing and motor skill delays compromise my ability to follow verbal instruction means I need to rely on mirroring others. Isn't that why the room is full of mirrors? 2. Autism - Pathological Demand Aboidance and a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, makes it difficult for me to transition quickly, especially when someone is micro-managing me. After the class, several other out-of-towners comforted me in the locker room. They were also appalled by Leasanne's behavior and commented that they had never witnessed anything like it and would never be coming back. When I went to leave, Leasanne and about 6 regular class members were waiting for me in the lobby. Leasanne said, "I hear you struggle with Autism" to which I replied "I'm not struggling with my Autism, but you clearly are". When I refused to shake her hand or give her a hug after she just spent 90 minutes traumatizing and harassing me in front of 30 strangers, that's when the regular class attendees surrounded me and one got up in my face to tell me that I was the problem because she has Bipolar Disorder and it didn't affect her ability to be in the class or get along with people. What!?! BPD is not AuDHD and if you're doing so great with it, why are you literally attacking me for not being able to keep up with the pace of a yoga class? That's insane. Needless to say, the whole ordeal put me into an Autistic collapse, so I didn't ever go back to be in "community" with a bunch of psychopaths. The money I spent on the 30 day pass was a loss, since I didn't have the energy or emotional regulation to advocate for myself, at that time. The experience was so traumatic I haven't been able to go to ANY group yoga classes since, and it is only now, 20 months later, that I'm even able to talk about it. I'm pretty sure I should be talking to a lawyer, but you gotta start somewhere.
