I bought a second hand Jigsaw bag which I loved at a cost of £65 in September this year. While out shopping in town the handle broke at the point it is attached to the bag. When I had a look at the other end it looked like this would not last much longer either. I went to Now & Then to initially ask for a refund as the bag was no longer usable. Now I appreciate that this was a used bag but the shop bought it to be resold and I would expect a good quality bag to last longer than 7 weeks even with previous use. The owner said that after app 7 weeks I had 'accepted' the bag and there really was nothing she was prepared to do. If a refund was not possible I would have been happy with the owner offering to repair the bag but this was not offered either. I feel that having paid £65 only weeks ago an offer to repair the bag would have been the right & fair thing to do.

I've only ever really used their bath bombs as I find the rest of the hair and skin care quite overwhelming, but Beth really took the time to get to know what I need and has helped with a new hair care routine for me which honestly has majorly changed my hair from having to wash it daily due to it being greasy and thinning to actually being able to skip a day if I need to and it not looking like a bucket of slime! Beth and the rest of the Lush staff have been so welcoming everytime I've been in the store and nothing is too much for them. great customer service and a really warm welcome. Thanks all.

The staff are nice and helpful they always ask if you need any help and were happy to go a and something when i asked for it as it was not on the shop floor. On 6th Aug 2018 I selected a black T shirt that was price marked £2.00 and took it to the tills to pay. The cashier asked me for £1.80, which I paid. I assumed that the 20p shortfall was due to some special offer. (Anyway, is it not legally the cashier's responsibility to charge the correct price, rather than the customer's to offer it?) I had left the store and was drinking a free sample of coffee from Starbuck's when a guy claiming to be store security approached me and said "you have to pay for that". I initially thought that he was referring to the coffee, which was free. When I showed him my receipt, he dismissed it as an old one until I told him to check its date. He insisted that we return to the store, due to the 20p shortfall in what I had paid. Just before we re-entered the store, he said to me: "Tell you what: You just give me the T shirt and I'll let this drop." I was shocked to hear a security guard say something so unprofessional. The guard wore no identification, and only flashed what I assume was his SIA licence at me for about one second (I couldn't even be sure it was an SIA licence!) I therefore initially suspected it was a scam or some TV/YouTube stunt. When the store's Duty Manager had cleared my receipt with the guard and the Security Manager, there was no apology from anyone. The Security Guard grabbed my shoulder and told me to come with him out of the store. This was a violation of SIA rules, as I passed a Door Supervisor course in 2014, and was told that grabbing customers is legally assault. The Guard and his Security Manager followed me out of the store, which to me implied an assumption of guilt and/or malicious intent, even though by now the Duty Manger had checked my receipt and cleared it. On the way out, I said that they had not heard the last of it - as it was my intention to complain formally - and that I would not be shopping in Primark again. I believe that these were both reasonable things to say, given the way that they had treated me. However, a few minutes after I exited High Chelmer I was approached by a Policewoman whom the Security Manager had called. Thankfully she saw sense and did not arrest me.

Its all colour grouped like Monsoon, so you dont have to look round the entire shop. Full prices are not cheap, but if you're looking for classics and they have a really good 'petite' range. Have diarised the sale for next Spring. Will need to sharpen my elbows though as I understand it sells out pronto!

It is a bit of a maze inside with ladies clothes down stairs with concessions mainly catering for the more mature lady. The cook shop is now upstairs on the first floor this is great with hard to find cooking and baking stuff. Also on the first floor is the cafe/restaurant this is very nice and well spaced out the choices of food and drink could be a bit more varied but it usually all tastes nice. They also sell carpet, flooring, curtains and furniture.

The staff are very helpful and suprisingly child friendly. I have often been in when my children as babies needed feeding and they told me to and feed them in the changing room. TK Maxx is one of those shops where you go in needing nothing and come out hold loads of things you really needed. On the ground floor is ladies clothes, handbags and purses, all shoes, kids clothes, toys, toiletries and seasonal stuff. Upstairs is mens clothes, home ware, books, towels and luggage. To get upstairs you have a choice of lift or stairs. You will find loads of big names and some you have never heard of. I never expect to find great bargains but you will find stuff below the normal price and the choice is amazing where else could you go to find an orange frying pan? There is no toilet at the retail park except for the one in Pizza Hut and I do not like to go in there just to use the loo and they are not always open.
