Thanks guys for getting everything moved without incidence really helped take a lot of stress off…read moremy plate. Showed up on time, got the move done quicker than expected, had a really nice experience with you guys.

We hired this company recently and while the crew worked hard the day of our move, there are…read moreseveral concerns that anyone considering them should be aware of: 1. Quoting Process The quoting process is misleading. They ask for "large items in each room" and then expect you to estimate how many boxes you will have. We had no way to know that accurately and misjudged. This left the movers scrambling for more boxes and more time. Even with their efforts, the move did not get completed that day. We understood that and were not upset about it, but the underlying issue is that the estimate was unrealistic and set everyone up for problems. When unpacking, we also discovered boxes half-filled, items combined that should not have been (for example, artwork packed in with a leaking soap bottle), and general disorganization. It became obvious why: Ryan employs day labor, and the workers were introducing themselves to each other for the first time inside our house. That lack of experience together showed in the way our belongings were packed. Additionally, we informed Ryan that an expensive massage chair had sustained damage, as well as a section of hardwood floor. We inquired how to make a claim, and Ryan did not respond. 2. Limits on What They Will Move We were told directly that they do not move large TVs due to liability and cannot move safes over 600 lbs. We understood and then posted online to ask for recommendations for another company that would move an approximately 800 lb safe and large TVs. 3. Unprofessional Owner Response Instead of letting us find additional help, the owner, Ryan (Toepke) Werlinger, wrote a lengthy, condescending public comment implying we were unreasonable and ungrateful. He then called to say they would move the items after all, while also accusing us of damaging his reputation. I clarified our post was factual. We were told they would not move them, so we asked for recommendations. We eventually removed the post just to avoid further conflict. 4. Dishonesty and Escalation When I later followed up about concerns with the quoting process and misleading time estimate, Ryan lied and claimed he had attempted to call me (our phone records show otherwise). His tone was dismissive and condescending, which left me upset enough that my husband called him. That conversation escalated, and my husband went to Ryan's office where yelling occurred on all sides. What disturbed us most was Ryan's aggressive behavior, at one point getting within an inch of my husband's face in a posturing manner. 5. Pattern of Behavior After this experience, we learned that Ryan has changed his last name in the past. It now makes sense why his behavior feels so rehearsed. This is not an isolated incident. His approach when confronted with criticism is not to listen or problem-solve, but to bully, belittle, and shift blame. 6. We Are Not Unreasonable Clients To be clear, we are not impossible to please or unreasonable customers. In just the last month, we have worked with Paramount Builders and their local subcontractors: Haider Glass, Creative Wood, Oztech Electric, and Timber Ridge, all of which are large, well-known, established companies. In addition, we have worked with CE Construction, Bridget's Room, and Unitech Pest Control. We had zero issues with any of them, and they would only say great things about us as clients. 7. Positive Comparison For context, our second day of moving was completed by Quality Movers and we had an excellent experience. The job took the same amount of time with the same number of workers, but they brought more materials, wrapped items properly, moved the safe and two very large TVs, and did so for $1,200 less than what we paid here. The difference in professionalism and care was night and day. Final Thoughts The movers themselves worked hard, and I want to give them credit. But the business practices and the owner's behavior are unprofessional and hostile. You will notice a lot of "perfect" reviews for this company. Please be aware that any less-than-perfect review will be met with denial, excuses, and personal attacks. This is not a company that takes responsibility. EDITED TO ADD: Ryan's response is exactly what we predicted in our review. Not factual and no responsibility. Immediately after posting reviews, I received a voicemail threatening I take it down and inappropriate comments that Yelp removed. We stand by our review and will not allow this behavior to dictate what consumers should know.

I have moved more times in my life than I can remember. I have never had such a nightmare…read moreexperience with a moving company than I have with AAction Movers. From the person doing the estimate not listening to instructions from me to making commitments that were not honored, they are untrustworthy and have no concept of customer service, let alone caring for the property they are moving. The only positive thing I can say is the 2 gentlemen that did the physical move were polite. If I had to choose between using AAction Movers and leaving all my property behind, I would leave everything behind. Given the thousands of dollars of damage and the actual cost of the move, it would have been less expensive to buy all new furniture and household goods. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

INTERESTING - I posted my review and went to look at it. The review states my location as…read moreCalifornia - We live in Bismarck, ND. Our move was 1 mile. The WORST experience ever. Aaction came highly recommended - did not deliver and extremely frustrated with the lack of progress on our claims. We had 13 pieces of furniture damaged by the "professional" loaders. During the quote process and after the move, the insurance was not explained. Ended up with the basis - $.30 per pound for damage. 13 pieces damaged, thousands of dollars, and we received $175. 2nd claim flied for damage to our house - STILL WAITING after three months. I have not repaired anything in house and they really do not give a SH&^. I was told that all damage would be covered at 100% - STILL WAITING. Working with the so-called staff over the past 3 months has been complete hell. No one calls back or takes ownership of anything - the old adage - over promise and under deliver. There is an excuse for everything and it is a bunch of BS. We live in Bismarck, ND- My recommendation is to use a local company. I am pretty sure this will never be seen by anyone - hopefully it is.
