Both are very skilled with their professional demeanor. Tina Tobias was manning their Front Desk and was efficient and so helpful. When you are not feeling well it's great to have someone who understands. The wait was not that long, as they have free wireless for your phone/ devices. Knowing that every case has its own unique circumstances, I realized that it might take a bit of time to be seen. In my experience, it was less than a hour in both cases. So my experience was a pleasant one with written RX's as it actually took more time filling my RX's than seeing both NP's AAA rating .. I'm just happy that we have such competent care in our area, which may help you bypass a longer wait at our hospitals. It's a win-win situation.. just prepare yourself for some type of wait especially on weekends.. patience is a virtue my mom use to tell me ...

After submitting my complaint, I received a call from a Goshen representative who basically supported the subpar care that the office staff (Clinton,NC) and FNP Russell Matthews provided to my dad. The subpar care was chalked up to a "miscommunication" which is a very dangerous justification when it comes to healthcare. Goshen, please hold your staff accountable for great healthcare!!!! I drive an hour to get there and on this particular day I had a couple of numb toes and that I was worried about and I am a diabetic I waited 42 minutes and I was never seen . I finally left no one said anything I walked right past the receptionist she never said a word . No one called me to see why I had left . No one called and follow up about my numb toes . I did call a couple of days later and got the number for the corporate office and called and left a message for the practice administrator to please call me regarding this issue and to this day and this is January 5th I have not heard from anybody . They don't care about their patients and the practice seems to be a bit of a mess. That's my opinion. In the waiting room they have all sorts of notices about if you're more than 10 minutes late you more than likely are not going to be seen but apparently they don't mind making you wait . It is unbelievable to me that in this day and age a practice could remain open when their attitude is such as what I've experienced. When I call to get the number for the practice administrator I did tell the girl exactly what had going on and she was the girl who had brought me back to the room and I told her how ticked I was and that overall I was upset about my toes being numb . She was empathetic but nothing happened . I don't recommend this practice to anyone if they care about their health and in fact that place needs an overhaul it's like a revolving door of employees and I just don't understand how since it seems to be a group of practices under this umbrella I don't understand how they could let this place stand the way it is .

I needed Bloodwork and sonogram and what hospital do you want to go to? I said No I'm not going anywhere but back to my BMW! I was made to sign a waiver refusing transport to hospital. Yeah she's one of the best Dr's I ever seen and wouldn't go back there if you paid me Stay away from this Dr I don't know where she got her license or if she has one. Seriously go to Market Commons location my husband says that location is better. The next day the Dr office called me to ask how I was feeling? Didn't bother to answer-talked with my sister in law who is a nurse in Dallas, and told me what to do. Feeling much better. This Dr doesn't need to continue to practice She doesn't know what she is doing!! Save Yourself the money go somewhere else! Also reporting this to BBB & Medical Association.

Whatever condition you have, just google it +laser treatment. For example, "colitis + laser treatment". Most conditions may take months to cure. Doctors hate this because it works. Dear Customer Service,…read more I am writing to express my disappointment with the care and treatment I received in the CMC Emergency Department on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Before I begin, I want to make it clear that I have always had outstanding experiences with CMC. About three and a half years ago, when I moved to this area, I decided that CMC would be my healthcare provider because every doctor, nurse, and staff member I had encountered was kind, compassionate, and made me feel welcome. Unfortunately, my experience in the Emergency Department was completely different. When I arrived, the gentleman working at the registration desk did not acknowledge or greet me. I had to approach him and ask if this was where I needed to register. Instead of welcoming me or asking how he could help, the first thing he told me was that there were a lot of people waiting, there were no beds available, and that I would have a long wait. He repeated this several times throughout our interaction. At the time, there were only about five people in the waiting room. Whether there were five people or fifty people should not matter to someone seeking emergency medical care. Patients come to the Emergency Department because they are worried about their health, and hearing repeatedly how long the wait will be only adds to their anxiety. While checking me in, I explained that I was experiencing chest pain that was radiating down my left arm. His response was, "I don't care about your arm. Tell me more about the chest pain." I understand that he may have been trying to focus on the most urgent symptom, but the way he said it was dismissive and lacked compassion. There are much more professional and caring ways to communicate with a patient who is frightened and not feeling well. The night before, I had spoken with the on-call physician, who advised me to go to the Emergency Department because of my symptoms. Since it was late at night, I told the doctor I would come first thing in the morning unless my condition became worse, in which case I would call an ambulance. I tried several times to explain this, along with my other medical concerns, but I was never given the opportunity. In addition to my chest pain, my legs and feet had become extremely swollen. My physician, Dr. Boykin, had prescribed medication to help reduce the fluid buildup because there was concern that my kidneys might not be functioning properly. The medication was not helping, and that was another important reason I came to the Emergency Department. Unfortunately, I felt as though no one wanted to hear about those concerns. After my EKG was completed and I was told I was not having a heart attack, I became so discouraged by the way I had been treated that I decided to leave without receiving further evaluation. Looking back, I realize that was probably not the best decision, but I simply no longer felt comfortable staying. No patient should ever feel driven to leave an emergency department because they feel dismissed or unwelcome. I also heard a nurse yelling loudly in the background while I was checking in. I do not know what the situation was, but from a patient's perspective, it came across as chaotic and unprofessional. I understand that emergency departments can be extremely busy and stressful. I also understand that staff members deal with difficult situations every day. However, those circumstances should never prevent patients from being treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. I do not know the name of the employee who checked me in. He was a gentleman with gray hair working the registration desk that Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m. I ask that you identify him and address this matter appropriately. Whether that involves coaching, additional customer service training, or another corrective action is your decision. I simply do not want another patient to have the same experience I had. Again, I want to emphasize that this complaint is not about CMC as a whole. My experiences with your physicians, nurses, and office staff have consistently been excellent, which is exactly why this incident was so shocking and disappointing. I would appreciate hearing from someone regarding this matter and learning what steps will be taken to address my concerns. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and for considering my feedback. Sincerely, Rob H 11-01--64

FRAUDULENT BILLING PRACTICES! Update on this review: CMC hospital is still billing me to this day…read more In fact, now their anesthesiologists has joined the party, and is also billing. PLEASE STOP BILLING ME. GET IT TOGETHER CMC AND FIX YOUR BILLING SYSTEM ONCE AND FOR ALL. I have a balance of 87.10 on my account and now the new anesth. bill. Once again, I have two insurance policies. If any balance remains after the first policy pays, the second policy pays the rest. This is the first time in over 20 years that I have EVER had this problem - only with CMC. Please have a heart, please fix this. My mom is worn out from trying to help me with this. 15 calls now. The supervisor in billing promised to take care of this, yet the stress continues. I would have given this hospital five stars, but because of there billing department they deserve a 1 star rating. I had nasal surgery October of last year and I am not supposed to be billed at all because I am on dual insurance coverage. What one does not pay, the other does. Dr. Darin Sutton was a great doctor but the billing at CMC is awful. My mother has called in 10 times now. Today we spoke with Destin, before that it was Rose, Tammy, Brittany, and a bunch of other staff in billing. We were told many times to call our insurance, although my insurance said that the hospital/office should not be billing or bothering me at all. My mom has spent lots of time trying to get this fixed, but I still show a balance. The last lady my mom spoke with actually said that the bill would go to collections if we don't pay. I have never been billed for a dime from any doctor or health office. My insurance pays for all of my medical needs. This is stressful and neither of us would use CMC again. Another 45 minute call begging for CMC to file the claim, and stop billing us.

Patient should know what to expect at an appointment and who they are seeing. And, most importantly, CLEARLY COMMUNICATE with patient as to what are next steps during the appointment. Don't take a patient (a cancer patient, no less) and sit them in the Treatment Room with no explanation as this causes unnecessary stress to the patient - is the patient to expect a treatment or therapy that the doctor didn't discuss with them previously? am I in the wrong place? what type of treatment are they giving me? ONLY TO FIND THAT THEY HAD AN APPT WITH THE NURSE, UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM, AND WERE SIMPLY SAT IN THE "TREATMENT ROOM" to wait for a nurse to read them their lab results. Additionally, the staff is terrible at submitting prescription dosing instructions - thankfully, the CVS pharmacists are incredibly wonderful and called the office 3x trying to sort out and clarify the instructions. Do better and be more professional. And, note, to all local doctors and staff - ALWAYS INTRODUCE YOURSELF - "I'm Nurse/Doctor/Medical Assistant xxxxxx" so that way we know who you are and how you will be assisting us during our appointment. This is not only a simple courtesy but a professional practice that should be used.
