They take all your insurance money and their work is awful. I had $7000 insurance coverage last year. They used it all. And I also had to pay them more than $570 out of my pocket. They took all my teeth out, gave me upper dentures. That was in November of last year. I still have gagging problems. They forgot to take one of the pins out of my upper gums. The bottom dentures didn't fit so they made me new ones but it took from November until April and they still don't fit. They hurt so much, I can't wear them. And now they have used all my insurance money for this year. When I told them the teeth still hurt, the dentist told me to wear them for awhile and if they still hurt to bring them back in. What kind of doctor does that. The bottom dentures hurt my gums so bad that they gave me blisters. I live in senior housing and several of the women here got their teeth pulled and both upper and lower dentures for less than $3500. Now they tell me I owe them more than $200. I called my insurance company and had them look at my bill and the insurance guy told me that I only owe them $58. They're still billing me for $220. I don't trust them at all. Also, I told them the first time I saw them that I have fibromyalgia and having shots in my mouth before caused me to have pain for a full month afterwards. They've kindly offered many options for anxiety but they have various levels of oral medications (which I prefer). My hygienist, Lupe, has been instrumental in my ability to receive dental care. She had my teeth in excellent shape so quickly. She's been so responsive to my problems with metabolizing all of the numbing agents. Dr. Lopez performed a root canal and crown placement. I was nervous that like many before, he would tell me I wasn't feeling pain, but just pressure, and keep on working. I finally had dental care without horrible pain! I have a beautiful functional crown in my mouth as I type this. The shape was excellent and the bite. My family member had the very same work on the very same tooth the day before me but at a different provider. She's still very sore. She has pain, swelling and is having to face her severe anxiety again to get the crown seated in two weeks. Within hours I was able to eat. I awoke the next day with very minimal discomfort which was easily remedied. Im eating hard crunchy foods a day later. We paid the same market price for our work but my experience has been so positive comparatively. I feel like they've really worked with my needs when possible to get my smile healthy. Scheduling is always very quick and easy. They let me turn up my music and respond very well to needs during visits. I recommend this dentist in general but especially to those who want to feel like more than a number when receiving this type of care.
