I…read moreasked to be referred to an endodontist (Dr. Ukena, former owner of the practice had offered one to me in the past for the same service.) Endodontists are much faster at root canals and when you have Copd and myalgia fast is very helpful. It took her 3 appointments and a total of 8 hours (4,then 2 then 2) to complete these procedures. Also she couldn't keep me numb, as I kept telling her, and kept jabbing me in the roof of my mouth which was very painful. By the end of the 3rd one I could barely get my twisted body out of the chair or walk. Then my oxygen started dropping and I was having sharp pains when breathing from ribs being out of place and an extremely tight diaphragm. As a result I landed in the ER, then hospital for over 2 days and had to be on oxygen. Needless to say, it was all very anxiety producing, confirmed by the doctor as contributing to the episode. If you are considering a dentist...I WOULD KEEP LOOKING.

He immediately asked for my previous records for review, discussed a potential plan with me over the phone and truly relieved my stress. In short do yourself a favor get it done right at a place that knows what they are doing. It is not here.

They performed an X-ray as mine was not up to date. That's fine, to see if there is any issues with the joint. Dr Hayes performed the Botox shots on two places on both low sides of my jawline. She told me it will take 3 to six days to relieve the sensitive teeth and pain. A week later I called the office to see why my pain is not subsided. The front desk talked to dr. Hayes and told me that it takes up to two weeks and that I had multiple infections in my gums. I am from East Europe and the materials used there are different. My feelings are in my mouth for 40 years and the X-rays are not changed a bit for the last 10 years. I have no pain in my teeth or any issues with my gums. That tells me dr. Hayes is not competent in her field. As I am not a regular customer, and my Dental Insurance doesn't cover such a procedure it cost me $600.00 out of pocket. I am pretty sure they didn't do the whole 20 to 50 units per side, as the shots supposed to be in 3 to 5 spots along the muscle and not just the jaw. I was charged the maximum price and told literally that that is it. With the same success i could be injected with saline solution, as I had not any relief. Now I am on painkillers and will visit my local cosmetic clinic for another treatment. This office is not professional, not competent and not recommended from my experience.

I have been through the gamut from extraction to root canals to filling a cavity and having a partial denture made for the bottom row of teeth still implanted there and the gap where the other teeth gave up the ghost. All my fault with, possibly, bad genes having a few teeth break while chewing with extraction the most practical option. Dr. Olson has performed his tasks professionally and in a friendly, relaxed manner. I am convinced he is honest and capable and has MY best interests at heart. When options are available he informs me of all, offers his advice and allows me to do what is best for me. His prices are competitive and I believe the value-for-the-money ranges from comparable to much better than prior dentists I had working on me in the other states I lived in.
