Over the years my wife and I have had a variety of dental work done at Parkcrest Dental Group, mostly with Dr. Jason Hall. We honestly have experienced no pain. The fixes moreover have lasted. Dr. Hall is straightforward about the work that needs to be done and accomplishes it with skill and finesse. Parkcrest is a smooth operation with competent technicians, cordial receptionists, and superb dentists. That this has been a successful dental practice for 50 years is no surprise. Today I was in for a couple of fillings and a cap. While I don't look forward to having my teeth worked on, this has been the best dental experience I've ever had.

She came out almost in tears and I could tell right away something was wrong. She said the woman who cleaned her teeth was rough and the dentist who came in frightened her (her words were "she was like a mob boss"). The dentist didn't come out to let me know anything (if she did or didn't have any cavities, any additional preventative care needed, if my daughter needed to be doing anything different, if she had good dental health, etc..) which is what their previous dentist always did. When we got home she said it felt like there was cement on her teeth and I noticed some white stuff caked on. It seems like they overbook and I'm guessing they only do 1 cleaning at a time based on the waiting times I saw. On a positive note, the front desk people were very friendly.

The dentist recommended scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) for teeth #4, #12, and #28, even though many of the recorded pocket measurements around those areas were only 2-4 mm. At the same time, the chart showed deeper 5-6 mm pockets on other teeth, which was not included in the proposed SRP treatment. I could not get a clear explanation for why teeth with relatively shallow measurements were selected for deep cleaning while the tooth with multiple 5-6 mm measurements was apparently missed. I later obtained evaluations from other dentists, and their findings were very different. What concerned me most was that the treatment recommendations did not seem to correspond clearly with the periodontal measurements I was given.

All I had done was x-rays and check up. Dr. Carla Duff did not even do an oral exam but just looked at x-rays. Instead of her admitting she could possibly made a mistake, that she got involve in discussion of my x-rays and forgot to check and went to her next appointment, she said, I would never skip that and acted very unprofessional. A person knows when someone pulls out your tongue to look under it for cancer or lifts your lips back to check gums. She did neither but denied it and instead of offering to check it, she got all bent out of shape and offended. Telling friends/neighbors/family to definitely beware of two sides of this dentist/office practices.

The office was nice and clean, but the wait was a little obnoxious considering it was empty. The dentist was friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I did have to call to get a treatment plan whereas I've always been given that upon leaving a dentists office so that was weird. My daughters dad called the insurance and clarified some of the charges, when I called OMS to speak to billing to question some things I was met with a very condescending attitude and told "I'd be happy with only having to pay $326", as if questioning what Cigna said we would be paying Vs what they're "estimate" given was out of line. As a customer I'm not trying to over pay, and they're billing well above their contracted amount per tooth, meaning the amount I'm paying a percentage of is inflated according to the dental insurance company. To speak to someone who is trying to just get clarification in such a condescending manner leaves a real impression on the facility as a whole. Just based on my most recent experience with their billing department on 11/13/2023 I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd find somewhere else where requesting clarification isn't such a burden on their employees.

My case number is 2331-AC06419 and I encourage you to look it up as it is public information. The judge agreed with me and I prevailed with a judgement against Randi Green. Background: Randi Green installed a crown in my mouth which she did not size correctly. It was bigger than my original, natural tooth. The now, larger crown crowded my mouth and rearranged the alignment of my bite. Randi Green refused to correct her error, she did not refer me to an orthodondist nor did she offer to correctly fix her mistake. She simply tried to sweep her shotty dentistry under the rug by refusing to take my calls and discontinuing my treatment. During the entire experience Randi Green's office staff were extremely rude to me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was left to find a new dentist and orthodontist on my own. If you have been wronged by Randi Green you are not alone. I encourage you to fight for what is right and, if you stick with your cause, you can prevail, too. I had never had a dentist so concerned with my comfort level. Literally every few minutes he asks; are you okay? Making sure you are feeling no pain whatsoever. When it was time to get more work done I specifically asked for him. But found he no longer was helping out at that office. So I quickly scheduled an appointment at his office. Upon my arrival I was truly impressed by the safe who "ALL" where extremely professional, and polite. The front, and rooms were very clean with a mellow Fung Shui feel. I received my cleaning from Lori, and later my numbing shots. And I can swear to you I never even felt a pinch! They treat you with the upmost respect no matter your dental condition. Dr. Papagayo has even taken time out of his busy schedule to talk to me on the phone, and squeeze me in when I'm worried about something. Never in my life have I had any doctor who cares for his patients this much. Dr Papagayo, and his staff's only concern is your happiness and comfort. I'm only sad I didn't find him sooner.
