We've told a lot of people about their great rates and their service and have been very happy. In March of 2021 we had a plumbing blow out with considerable damage to our kitchen. We filed a claim and got it taken care of and they were great. In July of 2023 we had some decent roof damage due to a monsoon storm that ripped up shingles. We called the office, claims set us up with a company to take a look and the company said this needs a full roof removal, file a claim. We filed a claim and State Farm said it was only partial and wouldn't meet the deductible. The roofer that they recommended said they would talk with State Farm more because he believes different and suggested we file a claim and he'll let them know his own findings. Months pass and we hear nothing from either the roofer or State Farm. Today I call the office to go over some of the coverages we have and they tell us that State Farm is dropping us because we have had 2 claims within a five year period. Keep in mind the roof claim was never paid out in anything and was closed as incomplete. In my opinion there was only one claim that the company actually paid out on in the seven years that we have been with them. This is really hard like I said. The only stars that I can give is for the office as they have been pleasant and helpful, I will never use State Farm again however and I will never recommend State Farm to anyone I know. What a shame. Also I've researched it since and it looks like most companies hold to a policy of more than one claim a year and they consider dropping the coverage. We didn't do anything wrong here. We did what we were told, we were never followed up with and then the company viewed us as a liability and calncelled us. Sad. Update - I felt the need to update this review. The office manager reached out to me today and I need to mention that she was amazing. Even though this is all very perplexing and frustrating she was so kind and helpful and understood where I was coming from. I still don't feel that I can change my star rating, but I have to mention again that this isn't really a review of William Quigley's office but the bizarre and confusing policies of State Farm.

    Country Financial is one of the worst companies I have every worked with. If they can't do the…read morebasics (e.g. keep information about the account, who can access it, take payments online, etc.), then why would you ever expect them to pay out when there is a claim. Agents seem friendly and nice - I have had several at different office including this office - because apparently there is a high turnover. But there is no follow through and what good is a agent that acts friendly when there are problems all the time. -- Corporate never receives paperwork I spend hours filling out and therefore the 800 department doesn't have current information (including addresses, account information, etc.). It is located at the agent's office and..... did I mention turnover [yup, this is when you really do need to keep a copy of everything handy]. -- Computer systems are old including how you make payments, so of course there are problems. Call 800# and ... oh, they don't have any of that information. And answers like "that is how it works" (e.g. bad computer programs) when things go wrong. -- When they are sending information to old addresses that you don't respond to, they will automatically renew your policy with the worst rating (e.g. 4x the price). Without your permission. When you qualify for a much cheaper rating. "Well you didn't respond and this is what we do." Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone and doing paperwork fixing problems they caused. Note: This is the struggles you have when you are paying them for a service they have not yet delivered (a claim payment). Which means be prepared to have 10x the struggles when you need to file a claim. Better yet, hire a better company.
