I finally answered the unknown number and a woman who worked for a State Farm agency was on the line, offering me an auto insurance quote. Either Christine, or one of her agents, I don't know. I have insurance but I told her "good luck," assuming she was going to get me a quote. She then hung up on me. So I dialed back to that number and got the same woman again. She started to talk about an auto quote, then hung up on me a second time. When I dialed back a third time, I got voicemail for Christine Moscaritolo agency, so I left a message. I tried the State Farm 800 number for customer support but was unable to find a human being there. With a little help from a local State Farm agency, I found that the number I had been using was abruptly "not in service." Same number I had already used for three calls, now dead. The local agency helped identify and connect me with another Moscaritolo agent. This was a male agent whose name was "John." I told "John" I wanted to talk to the agent I had started with, the one who hung up on me twice. "John" declined, saying he did not have time to find the agent to whom I had originally spoken. So I told him I would only accept a quote from the original agent who called me. He reiterated that he had no time to go through about 15 agents employed there to find that one. After being hung up on twice, I was only willing to talk about a quote with the original agent. That is a shabby way to treat potential customers, and I wanted her to have a chance to redeem herself. Unless and until I hear from that first agent, I will not accept a quote from State Farm Insurance. For auto, home, life, anything else. A company that treats me poorly before I'm a customer is not one that should expect me ever to become a customer.

    HUNG UP ON ME AFTER SIMPLE REQUEST* I was getting my car…read moreinspected and needed a hard copy of my insurance card, so Ms. Perez offered to have Ins.Co mail to me. Although this would delay my inspection a week I agreed. I wondered to myself why she couldn't just print and mail to me - after all, she did say I could come and pick it up! I explained that I now lived in East Stroudsburg which is 1 hour away from her office in Allentown. But, I just kept that thought to myself and waited. After 2 weeks the insurance card still hadn't come so I called Ms Perez. During this conversation she said the ONLY thing she could do is put in ANOTHER request!! THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE! That's when I, at first, humbly requested she just mail it to me. She said, "That's not how we "do things"! I told her I don't know what that means! I became agitated because I already waited 2 weeks before calling her after receiving nothing and explained to her my car inspection is now expired 2 weeks now. She was so rude at this point! Now I was driven by frustration and in fear of getting a $150 ticket!! I told her I didn't see the problem with just mailing the document to me as a courtesy since I've already waited...she didn't seem to get it and kept talking over me. Finally, she hung up on me. I called back and calmly left a message with her assistant, then a few hours later left a message on her machine. It's now one week later and I haven't heard from her. I'm angry now and that is why I've decided to share my experience!! Throughout our 2 year relationship I've had to follow up with Perez countless times on various unrelated requests!! My insurance was cancelled 3 times after I was told Auto Pay was accepted and in force, WITHOUT QUESTION!! Every time I speak with her she's frazzeled, she constantly makes errors and must make corrections. There came a point where it was EASIER to for us to deal DIRECTLY WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY!! I SUGGEST FOR YOUR OWN SANITY AND TO MAINTAIN PEACE IN YOUR LIVES, FIND ANOTHER NOTARY, A MORE EXPERIENCED AGENT WHO IS MATURE AND IS NOT DRIVEN BY ANXIETY. MS PEREZ LACKS SELF CONTROL & MATURITY WHICH WAS UNCOMFORTABLE FOR US TO OBSERVE. WE WERE EMBARRASSED FOR MS. PEREZ. SHE DID NOT CARE THAT AFTER 2 YEARS WE FELT THIS WAY AND I WAS GOING TO WRITE THIS HERE ON GOOGLE AND YELP. Those were her words, "Fine, I don't care, FU"!! I abbreviated it!!

    Could not do a simple title and tag transfer. Emailed me the day after saying two things weren't…read moresigned + they needed more money as the registration was 'more expensive'. Also, stated they would be in that day until 5p only and then they would be on vacation for the rest of the year. Thanks for giving 5 hours of notice on items you clearly should have checked before we left. Go somewhere else to get things done right the first time.
