Well just half way through the valuation the older manager woman came over and pretentiously asked if I was going to keep or sell the items as if I was disturbing business.. Before I could finish saying that I planned to keep them and my intent to have them melt it into a pendant with some of the stones, I got out the words "I want to keep them" before she rudely cut me off and belted that "if you're not gonna sell them you're wasting our time". Instead of admitting the intention that I had to not only pay for the valuation but a custom melt and set job I wanted for these pieces. I immediately decided on her rude behavior instead I'm gonna take my business to a jeweler who Im not "wasting their time" bottom line for the business owners. younger girl was great, but the older manager lady is not someone you should have conducting sales if you want to attract New customers and sales, She was very pretentious and flat out told me I was wasting their time. I will not conduct business and I will not recommend any one to you for this behavior any person who walks through your custom jewelers shop doors with genuine fine jewelry should never be treated so rudely as you may never know who they really are, and what they are there for... I called this company because I found them on Yelp and was very pleasantly surprised to find it is a mom and pop type jewelry store within the "Mall" at Lake City. They agreed to help me fix my watch immediately. I quickly drove there and the very friendly staff repaired my watch within 5 minutes! Plus, they literally only charged $10.00 for the repair, despite it being kind of an "emergency" thing and not possible for me to just leave it or wait around. I will definitely be using this jewelry store again and again! I am impressed that they do in-house repair. Plus, I asked if they do appraisals and they do...for a reasonable fee (using a certified gemologist). The jeweler I have previously used passed away and this will likely become my new go-to spot for repairs and possibly even some purchases. I definitely recommend this business.
