Some tech gave him the test and we never once saw an actual medical professional. Testing showed he was not allergic to anything at all. They collected my copay on the way out and I asked if that was all that I would be responsible for...and was told yes. Three weeks later I get a bill for almost $400 in the mail from them. I never found out anything about my son's issue. These people just want your insurance company's money for the allergy testing. The reimbursement they get from your insurance company is huge. They do not actually treat or help the patient. Save your money!!! Go elsewhere.

I would not recommend this office, or more specifically Dr. Kerr, for newborn tongue or lip tie…read morerevision after my 5 week old's recent visit and procedure. Dr. Kerr initially stated he felt there was no need for either procedure. As a mother who breastfed my first child through an oral tie and subsequent revision, I was adamant that my newborn had an issue that needed correction. After "speaking with a colleague" he returned, reluctantly offering to perform the procedure on my child despite telling me it would be the first time ever done for this reason. (Which is frankly untrue and demonstrates his lack of furthered education on correcting oral ties.) Less than 24 hours after my daughter's upper lip frenulum was released, breastfeeding has become 100% pain free. The figurative "icing on the cake" was Dr. Kerr's passive aggressive placement of the summary portion of a single webpage he printed from the internet next to our paperwork. This printed page came from a website that cites ZERO peer-reviewed medical journals backing their claims. Dr. Kerr and his unnamed colleague are claiming expertise in a field where they are touting outdated information and lacking furthered education. After seeing my child's pediatrician again today we were encouraged to seek a second opinion about the posterior tongue tie Dr. Kerr overlooked yesterday at our appointment. We will not be returning to his practice, and I encourage you as a parent to do the same for the sake of your child, your breastfeeding relationship, and their future oral and speech health. The office itself was clean, staff welcoming and friendly, and the wait time was short which is why I'm giving 2 stars rather than zero.

Let me tell you how my visit went at Dr. Werning ENT office. I came 10 minutes late (as I informed…read morethe nurse I would be prior to my visit) I waited 2hours in the general waiting room. They transfered me to an exam room, here I waited 1 hour. They then transfered me to another exam room and I waited another hour ( I am not exaggerating one minute of this) I figured this guy was a good doctor seeing as how he was so late spending time with other patients so I felt as if the long wait could be justified. Once he finally came into the room he was nice, at first. He explained generally (very generally) my diagnosis, and all things I knew already. He then began quickly going through worst case scenarios (in his words "10% chance situations") in order to "remove" the cancer in a cold, rude, and emotionless way. I was upset by this information on the procedures I would have to have so I began to quietly sob. This seemed to infuriate the doctor as if his time to speak was so important and I was not to interrupt with my blubbering or else. I could never think of a more horrible way to find out about possible treatments. I would rather travel across the country before I saw this guy again. Oh and did I mention when I asked him how many of these types of surgeries he had done he responded, "I stopped counting" and then I said okay just on average because I am curious, and he responded in an even more narcissistic and rude manor, "I wrote the book on this surgery" . My doctor sent another referral over and I called to schedule an appointment but I was told they could not see me without imaging studies. UF Health has become a joke. I was a patient in their practice but if you have not been seen by a physician within six months, you are considered a new patient. Well, I will NEVER go to UF Health again!
