The first time she came there were a few places missed that were not clean, but I was home and able to show her the missing spots so she was able to clean them before she left. The second time she came a few weeks ago I was home but busy with work and wasn't able to take a thorough look around the house until a few hours later when my husband was home. It didn't look like any of the floors or stairs had actually been vacuumed, there was soap scum all over the master shower, and a thin layer of dust still on two of the bathroom counters. She offers a great cleaning price but not at the expense of having a dirty house still. I sent her a message and she offered to come back to clean again but I after I discussed with my husband we decided to pay more for a solid cleaning service instead of having her come back. What was most concerning was the lack of communication and accountability: The team became "overwhelmed," yet I was never informed while they were on-site, even though I was present the entire time The owner later admitted she received updates and photos from her supervisor but still did not notify me Instead of correcting the issue, I was offered the option to pay additional hourly fees ($50-$90/hour) for someone else to finish the job that should have been completed initially I expressed my dissatisfaction and even provided photo evidence of the incomplete and poorly cleaned areas. Despite this, I felt pressured to pay the remaining balance to avoid potential conflict after just closing on my home. This experience was unprofessional, poorly managed, and not worth the cost. When I told him this was unprofessional, inconvenient, and poorly communicated, he then turned it around on me and said I have been late in my payments (during hurricane Harvey?!?). Otherwise all payments have been within 24 hrs. And quite frankly, that argument is unrelated- as a business owner if your people are late, call as soon as you know they're going to be late and apologize.
