I've had the pastrami, French dip, and meatball, all of which were great. The French rolls they use are high quality, same with the meat, and they don't skimp on portions. After tax, they come out to $17-18 if I'm not mistaken, and given the price of the chain sandwich places and the quality of ingredients they offer, I think it's great value. Staff is also very welcoming and easy to deal with. Definitely worth a try!

They have high-quality cuts of meats and a small, but nicely curated shop with delicious snacks and pantry staples. I like to come here for their picanha, priced at $19.99 a lb. Usually $20 allows me to walk out the door with two modestly sized steaks that become spectacular when they're finished on my stainless-steel pan at home. I also like their frozen meatballs in their freezer, which adds some really nice savory flavors to my spaghetti and meatballs. They have really high end cuts of meat like wagyu and Japanese A5 meats here; however, that's not really what I come looking for. Their pantry is nicely stocked with quality ingredients. It's hard to not pass up their delicious pork rinds (from 4505 or Southern Recipe) or Mutti marinaras. And if I don't feel like cooking, I can come for lunch in order to walk away with a sandwich that they can make for me. Overall, this is a small shop, that's thoughtfully stocked with some really high-quality ingredients for me to make a nice dinner at home!

The beef ribs were really good, big and properly cooked, the kind of meat you actually talk about on the way home. The galbi was right there with them, savory and satisfying, and between the two we were set. The kids loved the spam musubi. That alone would have made the stop worth it for us. Spam musubi is one of those things that either works for kids or turns into a negotiation, and here there was no negotiation. They were happy, which meant the adults got to eat in peace for a minute. Dessert sealed it. They have a version of Dole Whip that tastes just like Disneyland. I am not being cute about that. Same soft, cold, pineapple hit you remember from the park, which is a wild thing to get after a plate of ribs in Anaheim. We finished full and already half-planning the next visit. One caveat: it was really smoky inside. Enough that I noticed it the whole meal. If I could give 4.5 I would, but I'm rounding up because the food was that good. Portions felt solid for a plate-lunch place, the vibe was casual and family-friendly, and nothing about the meal felt fussy. If you want Hawaiian-style BBQ with kids in tow, this is still an easy yes. Five stars.

I usually go for a-la-carte KBBQ with more premium cuts of meat, but I was really excited to try the extensive self-serve sides here and take advantage of the happy hour deals ($23.99). We waited about 15-20 mins for a table and a server promptly seated us and got us started with a QR code to order our meats. Once we ordered, we went to get our sides at the self-serve bar (2 huge tables with so many classic korean sides and dishes)! The meats came out super quick and the servers were very attentive with clearing plates / changing grills without us needing to flag them. Don't forget the soft serve ice cream + jello + orange slices for dessert! PARKING : Big parking lot with plenty of space, no issues with parking even on a Sunday evening when everyone was out and about! FOOD/DRINKS : - Meats - brisket, beef belly, bulgogi, pork belly, curry pork belly, spicy pork belly, spicy marinated squid -- my fav was the beef belly! not too fatty, but tender and thinly sliced. the bulgogi was a miss unfortunately because it was too tough. - Sides - potato salad, radish paper, bean sprout, cucumber, kimchi, fish cake, japchae, seaweed salad, tempura, tteokbokki, cold noodles w broth, spicy mixed cold noodles, and tofu soup! -- there was more but i was too full to eat more. Def need to come back to have more potato salad + bean sprouts + noodles!
