Returing home many times from overseas Fresh is always my destination to 'settle back in' However its location in the busy Manly Beach Plaza is also part reason for its popularity. Its right in front of Skater HQ (formerly Manly Rollerblades) and Australian HQ. And Im intrigued to see that Murrays is a bar opening over it (short time for that spanish restaurant to have been there) very soon I have never seen a location that can turnover as businesses as this one has. This morning Im sharing Pear and Rasberry toasted bread with my 1 year old who is having a babychino and I a Belaroma skim Mocha. The P&R bread is to die for and while my daugther throws around her froth she enjoys playing with all the toys they have avaliable. Even with Hemingways next door (another venue that has changed many times) I think Fresh is going to survive for many years to come.

The menu had some really great options from coffee to healthy bowls and you can even adjust them to fit any dietary restrictions you may have. During our visit we ordered an iced coffee with coconut milk, the Rio Bowl and the Ocean Bowl. I absolutely loved the cute wooden block we got to flag our order down with while we waited. So many unique touches to really make the experience a memorable one. When we got our order I admired the food art for a little too long and almost didn't want to eat and ruin the beautiful bowls before us... ALMOST!! When I first dipped my spoon into the Ocean Bowl, I was instantly taken to a tropical paradise in one fabulous bite of the strawberry and passion fruit together. Wow is pretty much all I could say between bites! The homemade granola on top was also something to write home about because it was fresh, chewy and full of healthy flavor. Most places top your cold bowls with hard granola that makes you concerned you might break your teeth but not here. I also really enjoyed the fresh coffee. While with the family spending the early afternoon lounging by the beach we decided it was time to treat ourselves, after doing a quick browse online we found this location and right on the beach front too, how convenient !! We were not let down, I had the manly bowl and it was perfect, even looking like the picture on the menu. It was perfect. The fruit topping was fresh and the acai blend was great. It is a great change from the city and because it is a new shiny place to visit. Load of outdoor seating with the Sydney Harbour and Bridge as a sparkling backdrop whilst enjoying a game of lawn bowls, paired with cocktails or beer. which ever takes your fancy. The shop specializes in power foods and health fare so you won't be able to find pastries and croissants here. Instead you will have the opportunity to try some lovely healthy offerings like Acai and power bowls and healthy juices and smoothies. They also carry a really great avocado toast which seemed a little pricey but is quite generous being two slices and comes on sourdough toast with cashew butter. I ordered a mocha as I didn't have time for a sit down meal but plan to come out and try this place again soon. My drink was perfect with the right mix of coffee and chocolate, served warm enough to help me make the ten minute trek to my office on a colder than usual winter Australian morning. When it's a little warmer out I plan to try one of their smoothies. They come in two sizes and a variety of flavor combinations.
